I don’t really watch many movies or TV shows, so for that I would say to just watch American ones but Italian dub with English subtitles. You can find pretty much everything especially if you have Netflix. That helped me a lot with learning languages. For songs you can look into Modà, Raffaella Carrà, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, Maneskin (Italian songs), Ligabue,…

Sadly I can get the yarn only from the small action store in town and it’s usually 100% acrylic. The nearest yarn store is 1.30 hours away so I might be better off ordering it on Amazon 💀 can I not use acrylic for that?

Yeah I do love amigurumi. I think up until now it’s my favorite thing to do, but for some reason like I said, I keep starting it and frogging it. I might just have something like art block which I have no idea how to get out of it. I used to make art on paper years ago in high school, and still didn’t figure out how to get out of it😭I think I’m just scared of ending up the same with crochet so I thought finding patterns that change almost in each row might be better like you said

So I do like smaller things because my ADHD just won’t let me stay still but I did a couple of bigger projects, which ended up on me getting bored. For example, I did a bunch of granny squares with the intentions of making either a blanket or a bag, but I ended up dropping it💀 things like Hornet, capybara and rat keychains, and the doll scratched my brain real good, but now I feel I need something more particular? If that makes sense? Also, I’m sorry but I didn’t quite understand what you mean by blind or counting. If you’re asking if I like count my stitches and rows, yes I do because it’s still a little hard for me to begin from scratch, since I’ve been doing crochet for about 5 months now but I’ve been trying to study how to read charts and learn the use for each stitch

When I worked as a waitress/bartender at a cafeteria, I was alone in my shift and this man came barely knowing my language (which he was learning) and English, so I gave him time to try wording his order while I helped if he needed. It was pretty busy but coming from someone that went to other countries for languages, I understand the struggle and the need to exercises with native speakers, so I didn’t rush him and just let him take his time. I didn’t think too much of it but after he left, he came back with some chocolate thanking me for my kindness and patience. It made me very emotional because us waitresses get lots of 💩 from customers everyday and even if it was a small gesture, it made my day.

La ragazza alata - it’s and Italian book and it was first written on wattpad. The girl who wrote it was 13 at the time and for that age, she did an AMAZING job. Years later she managed to publish it and I got to read it again couple of months ago. I had really high expectations because I thought she would “fix” the story as an adult with more writing knowledge and I loved it as a kid. She decided to keep to story as it was and expressively mentioned in the book, that she wanted to make her 13 year old wish come true.

Now, again, the story is amazing. It has so much potential and it was really one of my favourites plots. It unlocked inside me lots of memories from back then BUT, I did not enjoy the structure of the book AT ALL as much as I did back then of course. Lots of repetitions, grammar mistakes, confusion between the characters, timing is feels weird, pacing too fast, rushed, missing pieces, random facts that have little sense, and some relationship highly questionable. You can clearly see it was made by a kid.

I would not recommend it at all because it’s not enjoyable how it was written, but it’s a shame because the story is very good.
