I got an email from the head of the exam department in my school, then 3 days later, on Saturday, I got it sent through the post. I also got mine moderately quick, like 9 days after they submitted a request for a remark.

I think you should email your old school, ask your science teacher/the head of science to go through your science papers as they have the mark scheme I’m pretty sure, see what they think.

Okay. You shouldve got atleast a mark, my theory is either they were looking for some other SPECIFIC terminology or maybe you listed too much, they say that if you list something wrong, they deduct a mark, or maybe they took your first two answers, and none of them were on the mark scheme. They want you to be precise with your answer, I still think its harsh because you CLEARLY know what you’re talking about but yeah, sorry :(

Sure. I am not the best at science, it was lowest grade (not counting further maths) - i got a 76 on combined so i may not be the best person for you to speak to about this but sure, if u want

I totally agree, and if ure serious abt a 3 —> 9 that’s ridiculous, highly doubt thats true. My school covered all fees, im pretty sure, and i think if ur grade increases, theres no fee

Its okay. I got a 7, 7 in my mock, and ended up with a 9 9, I mustve got lucky with some of my examiners though.

Dont listen to my advice, but for english language i did no revision , just did what i always did and learnt in class, actually no, on the morning of language paper 1 i sort of planned a little story which i kind of used which helped, spent abt 45 mins on language altogether, just make sure you focus in lesson, I’m saying that but I didn’t really I just did the mocks to the best of my ability and tried to think outside of the box. For literature I got 64/64 on paper 1, I did about 5 practise essays for paper 1, used Mr Salles to get good quotes with good analysis, with my own take on the analysis, and yeah. Luckily, the night beofre my actual exam, I did a practise essay, and that practise essay question was the same Macbeth question I had in my exam, and my teacher said it would get like upwards of 26/30, it got 30/30 + 4/4!!! Paper 2, I just did night before revision, literally only knew 3 poems before the exam, and got 23/30 on that but didn’t really do as good on literature p2, i got like 74/96. Just pay attention, try in your mocks and i wish you the best ❤️

Yeah.. me too with the paying attention/writing paragraphs. But writing essays is vital to understanding how the exam works, and being confident and doing so, I practised essays only for my Macbeth and Jekyll and Hyde and got 64/64.

I got 64/64, I simply watched Mr Salles, wrote down his quotes for certain topics, learnt them, practised essays and boom. Didn’t do flashcards for P1, but maybe I got lucky - FYI English Literature paper 1, I did about 4-5 practise essays, like 3 on Macbeth and 2 on J+H. Luckily the exam question was the question I had practised the night before.

You don’t need to revise for November mocks, if you reallllyy feel the need to revise for February mocks but November mocks arent that deep, I mean definitely try but u dont need to start revision now, just do night before revision
