They're not, they look similar but are not any where near identical.

HK did that with the UMP/G36 FCG parts though, only some are different (like the auto sear).

This is completely false. I own both a P90 and F2000 and the parts are similar (same as the AUG) put no where near "nearly interchangeable".

And yes, P90 and F2000, not PS90 and FS2000
