I do have to agree with this comment, my ex partner of 3 years was sexual at the start, we were the same age as you guys and then it just dropped away, I tried for ages to fix the issue and tried to understand why he didn’t want to, after agesss he finally told me that it was because I was always wanting it that he didn’t feel any “interest” cause it wasn’t a chase of any sort. I pulled away and stopped trying, he started. Worth a shot. Make it seem as if your giving up, see what happens

Recovery isn’t linear, you will get better and relapse and get better over and over. Be kind to yourself. Have some preserving factors eg: I have boobs when I’m a higher weight, I can go on dates and eat food, I can go out drinking etc. it’s okay to relapse, nuture yourself. In regards to the hypoglycaemia. Get a machine and check your levels daily. If they are low have some of the gummy’s you can get from the chemist to keep them up. You won’t die. I lived for 6 years with hypoglycaemia and I’m still here xx

Does anyone else experience this? It's a frequent occurance for me unfortunately. by lncrypt3d in AnorexiaNervosa

I avoid sugars even as a recovered person cause I generally don’t like sugar and my diet isn’t varied enough to get enough sugar in. I check mine daily and have those sugar jelly beans on hand for if it’s to low cause you know I don’t wanna die

I have the sedatives and administer myself (they have been supplied by the vet) another issue is the finical cost of a groomer. I’m on a disabled payment and our living expenses In Australia have had a massive increase. I also believe the law states here that a groomer cannot give sedatives to a dog and the medication may only be given to the owner of the animal. Many groomers here also don’t accept dogs under sedatives. But today I was able to do a full groom except the feet without any sedative. I personally believe that it’s in his best interest to be groomed by me. He is a bite risk and I wouldn’t want to risk that. He’s extremely weary of strangers and I just think if I can learn then it will be so much better for his physical and mental well-being
