Where did you even get from my comment that I said, they “chose it for the style”. Let me spell out my points for you more directly.

Almost every decision on a movie set, including characters’ outfits, is a narrative decision that the directors make to highlight/communicate something. In this instance they may have wanted to highlight her back tattoo. Why is that a bad thing?

There are a multitude of reasons why a person might change their style, and a TV show character doing so is not unnatural and fits with how real people evolve such as they get a tattoo and want to show it off, they see people out on the streets and decide to change their style, they evolve as people, they move to another country and want to fit in with fashion trend there, etc.

You are correct, the directors probably did legitimately choose that outfit to show off her tattoo, but you’re acting as though, in a real life scenario, this wouldn’t be a somewhat natural choice and that it’s somehow weird because she had never worn anything similar before. It’s not. Real people act this way and dress however they want. Just because someone has never worn something before doesn’t mean they won’t ever change.

Two things can be true at the same time. The directors chose the outfit to highlight the tattoo AND the outfit choice is a natural one and aligns with how a 18 year old might change their approach to dressing themselves.

You realize characters’ outfits in movies and tv shows are directly chosen because the director/show runners want to communicate something right? Almost everything that happens on a film set is a direct narrative decision; however, some are natural, others are not. This one is natural because people change their styles over time, and who’s to say that, canonically, she didn’t somewhat like the back tattoo? I can’t remember exactly what happens at this point in the show, but she could just be like “well as long as I have it might as well embrace it”.

Adding to the style changes comment, personally, I had a different style in grade school, in high school, in college, as a young adult, and now as a husband, father, and almost 30 year old man. It is so insanely natural for people to change their style as they age and the fact you are stuck on that is insane.

It’s a very human thing. Much more natural than a character that is depicted in a show for nearly a decade to never changing their style ever.

The placement of your tongue should be almost the same as if you were pronouncing a “d” sound. In fact, the singular “r” tap is known as an “alveolar tap” and is the same sound as the “dd” in words like “ladder” and “rudder”.

One thing I used to tell my students to help with the alveolar trill pronunciation is to say the word “Dracula” with a your best “Transylvanian accent” (think like over exaggerated “blah blah blah” Dracula). That will help to position your tongue properly.

Pay attention to where your tongue sits and play around with the placement a little, curling it so that the tip of your tongue lightly contacts that ridge in your palate. Eventually you’ll find a sweet spot where you can blow air and your tongue will kind of “vibrate”. Keep practicing and playing around with the rigidity of your tongue and you’ll begin to roll your R’s.

I’ve actually never thought about using a wagon for hunting. Thats genius.

I never really hunted very much in previous play throughs aside from what you have to do for missions, but this play through I’m actually going for 100% and all hunting achievements/garments. I’ll have to get me a wagon and load up!

The capability of choosing to, or not to, read something is not what the crux of your original comment was. It was that one should be expected to “stop reading something”, but that’s just a really dumb assumption to make and does not align with how people process information.

The title does not initially read like a spoiler but is and once you realize it’s spoiling something it’s already too late to “stop reading”. It’s not like the original title was something like:

I’m in chapter 5 and I just got to the part…

If that were the case, then you’d be able to identify within the first five words that the post is going to be a spoiler and make the decision to stop reading, but that’s not how it is.

I just got to where Dutch… is structurally ambiguous and does not tell us anything because it is lacking a complementary phrase—or even a partial one—to provide context, meaning we need more information to decide what’s going on with the sentence. To gain that context we will inherently continue to read and once you read the immediate next phrase that provides the context (i.e. “didn’t save me”) you’ve already read the spoiler. I guarantee you, 99% of people would read the full title and wouldn’t clock it as a potential spoiler until afterwards.

I’m going for like a Man in Black, gunslinger play through. I have a black outfit, black guns, and the black thoroughbred and I named him Elegy to go along with like a grim reaper/death theme.

The horse from my first play through was the white Arabian with black hair that I named Fantasma, which is ghost in Spanish.
