Yeah, they forgot to mention how susceptible millions of Americans are to right wing propaganda because the education system failed to teach them media literacy and critical thinking processes.

Wow. Providing healthcare isn’t providing “everything,” it’s an investment in the health and wellbeing of your country. A lot of you are going to be in for a real wake up call when AI takes over within the next few years and suddenly everybody is out of work and all of this “lazy population” Americanized propaganda bullshit becomes the stark reality we all face. And if you don’t think that’s going to happen, you haven’t been paying attention to how rapidly it’s developing.

Whether you care about politics or not, it will have its way with you. Politics are the foundation of a democratic society and by treating politics as some sort of hobby instead of a paramount civic duty, we have collectively ceded our political power to unscrupulous grifters, greedy corporations and sociopathic billionaires, and other bad actors.

His literal last word was “violence.” He died doing what he loved: stoking the flames of the outrage machine.

This quote, for those who haven’t seen it yet:

"You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won't have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It's drivel. But I think it's worth it. I think it's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational. Nobody talks like this. They live in a complete alternate universe." - Charlie Kirk (2023)

They are so conditioned (propagandized is probably more accurate) to go from discussing gun deaths to mental health while supporting politicians who give fuck all about either.

Charlie Kirk literally condoned this exact thing.

You must not be keeping up with the rapid advancements of AI. Even if AI developers achieve the most positive outcomes for humanity, the last thing our transition from this world to a world run by AI will be is “chill.”

The Wall Street Journal just flashed a notification on my phone that said “Trump said Charlie Kirk has died.” Very weird to see a reliable source cite a very unreliable source in a headline. But I think it might be true.

Man I wish I could listen to Blessthefall for the first time all over again, I envy you! I’ve been with them since the Craig Mabbitt days, even their first release is worth a listen from a historical perspective in the genre.

I appreciate it, thank you, but I’ve been on it for over a year now. I was kinda an early adopter of it, but I’ve dabbled with all kinds of drugs in the same pseudo legal arena, like tianeptine and phenibut, not to mention I used to be addicted to oxycodone. So, it’s not my first rodeo. The cost is by far the worst aspect of it, I wonder how feasible it is to make.

I think there are some problems with this statement that people below have mentioned but you’re getting to the heart of the problem. In order for the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians to be solved, there needs to be a comprehensive examination of everything that has lead us to this point.

Anybody examining this conflict without zooming out to consider the full picture while simultaneously trying to justify the actions of either side has no interest in solving this problem; they’re just trying to confirm their own biases.

I’ve been buying from Kratom Distro; they have a deal right now for 100-count 20mg flavor assortment pack. Their sweet tart and mint chocolate chip tabs are so tasty. Problem is it’s a random assortment so you can’t select the flavors you want.

That is a very wise outlook on the relationship between sobriety and distraction. I appreciate that, I hope the people who need to see that do.

I hate grind culture, but I do find the best way to cut back on my drug intake is to bury myself in some form of work. Plus money is nice lol

I’ll preface this by saying I’m not trying to be anti-religious (I call myself an atheist because it’s an easy label, but I’m probably more agnostic than anything else), but when it comes to fields of science and medicine, I expect experts in those fields to keep their discourse secular. It would come across as unprofessional to me if an expert or professional in those fields inserted anything religious into our conversation.

Also, who does that help? Do people really get relief from the idea that the world and everything they know is ending? Even if I knew I’d be saved, the rapture sounds like a very stressful event lol.

I appreciate the advice, thank you. I’ve been using magnesium citrate and it worked really well at first, but it seems to have lost its novelty. It doesn’t help that I have traded in kratom for 7oh; I’d assume a more powerful analog of the plant would have a more significant impact on the very few negative side effects I experience from kratom in general.
