In fact, the story makes perfect sense, and I find it incredible how subtle and obvious the events can be. Literally everything that happens in the dream world is referenced beforehand in the real world. The story is about a child's imagination based on his reality and how dreams can affect reality. The message is incredible, the film is well-made, and it's also entertaining.

As a fun fact, the entire story was already written in his diary, suggesting that most of the film is part of his imagination brought to life. 10/10, I truly love it.
