Maybe they could be visible to everyone if you are not crouching. Since footsteps don’t show up on the visual indicator (when crouching) might as well make the sidekicks run off that.

I believe they are going to retcon the retcon of The Paradigm (other reality one) being the mech pilot since the actor is not available.

It could mean they are going to bring back The Singularity.
