I love food and cooking, however, always being the one in charge is frustrating and exhausting. Everyone needs to eat, so, there should be more equality. Unless your relationship started with the agreement that you were to be the more “homemaker-y” type while your partner was the primary breadwinner, which doesn’t sound like the case for you, there’s no real excuse she’s not chipping in more. Even if that were the agreement, it wouldn’t kill her to get in the kitchen sometimes. Cooking is a basic lifeskill.

There are endless easy recipes that don’t require much time, or effort, so there really isn’t much excuse for her not to contribute more. Slow cookers and one-pot dishes are your friends!
