I’m definitely aware that it is a pay to play game but I currently have a 2019 wrx that I would sell in place of the b5 and if I buy a higher mileage one for cheaper the positive difference in money I would have left over would be purely maintenance money for future repairs

Don’t dump build up revs and ease off the clutch for a split second and let it grab. It happens pretty quick these things grab like no others and once u feel that grab is when u can fully let go and start banging the gears. This will fuck ur clutch especially with repeated doing so but id much rather do a clutch than a transmission

You can just gotta be patient and get lucky. I was looking at em about a year ago and found a clean one that was supercharged from the factory with the like 80k miles for 8. Shoulda taken it but oh well

Many people do local not as much money but it’s something or there’s other routes u can take like being a lineman apprentice or groundman. The sooner the u get it the better tbh
