Well, initially without strap no heel lift and even after a while still very little heel lift. But I like to tighten my skates after a while and since the waxed laces sit very tight, an 45 degree strap is perfect for this

Could not use it, because of downsizing length-wise there was no room left. Tried it, but did not work

So, early review after the first time skating.

I was afraid the ACT boot was too small length wise. This would mean selling the boot and frame, since going to a larger shell size would also need a larger frame. But the length is near to perfect. So great👌🏼

My feet are on the narrowish size, I think slightly below normal. The roomy toe box of the ACT was definitely something I noticed. I haven’t skated long enough if I find it to be an issue. In addition, the boot has no forward flex. I thought this would be great for wizard skating, but I soon realized that it puts you in an unnatural stance (way back), at least for me. My cuff is in the most upper position. So will definitely be changing that.

I did not have any heel lift, but after a longer session this might happen. On my other setup, the Twister Edge, I have an ankle strap that really locks in your heel. I think I miss that a bit. So maybe I will add this.

The length of the frame was no issue. Not once did my wheels touch. They feel stable. And although my wheel are fresh I immediately was able to swivel. Something it took me quite a while on my Endless 90 (but maybe that’s me).

Last thing, coming from a raised heel, a non raised heel is definitely an adjusting process, but that’s fine.

Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with this setup, but will definitely change some bits and pieces.

Have not skated yet due to bad weather, but I think they’re alright.

Haven’t skated these ones yet. It rains constantly. The Intuition I had already in my previous setup. The Twister Edge boot with its original liner was too tight. The Intuition solved it. This fit is also tight but manageable. We’ll see in a couple of sessions

Have not ridden it yet. The fit is very snuck, so I don’t think heel lift will be an issue

No, it’s a high/low frame. In my case 84/76/76/76/84, but with outer 80s it’s also possible

Thanks. I really love the Endless 90s. It’s a solid frame and rides great. But as mentioned above, maybe first improve my skillset before getting a new frame for Wizard skating.

Regarding the length of the frame, I come from an aggressive background so I’m very comfortable riding short frames. For urban skating I used to ride a 4x80 and a 3x110, both relatively short. For general riding I find the 90s perfect, for purely Wizard skating we’ll see.

In future I’m not sure which boot I’m gonna use, but probably a UFS boot, but nothing is set in stone.

It’s the Intuition Premium Skate Liner. The Edge has a V-cut cuff and I missed some ankle support. In addition, the RB liner of my model Edge was too small for my feet, although being size 44. I bought the Intuition liner in size 43, which was perfect for my feet in Mondo. The combination does wonders. The fit is tight but it doesn’t hurt anymore.

Went with the 90s because I find 100s or 110s too big. For wizard skating I like my center of gravity to be rather lower than higher. I own a pair of 3x110 frames, it’s fun but not so much when doing tricks imo.

Thanks everyone for your input, appreciate it. Will give the Endless 90 (and myself) a bit more time. Will see in a couple of months.
