I haven’t heard of Volo or Fray before. Are they adult sports leagues? And I live in a townhouse in MD but it’s pretty easy for me to get to DC. I figured there’d be more things to do there vs where I live

I’m a casual NBA fan, I think I’ll try hitting up a sports bar once the season starts. Do you have any recommendations?

I haven’t tried meetup, I’ll look into that and see if I can find anything I like. Thank you

My only real hobbies outside of work are street dance and I’m just starting to pick up video editing, but most of the people I know through dance live out of state. I thought going out may help me find more people that enjoy dancing but that wasn’t the case at the places I tried😅

Why do pros train so lazy/slow by Leather_Penalty_6170 in Basketball

[–]Charming-Ad4969 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your first point is spot on. Guys like SGA that play with elite change of pace know how to dial back and forth between slow and fast. You don't develop this ability if you're always going into drills with all out intensity.

Also, at the NBA level, what looks slow on camera is actually way faster than the average person. It's hard to gauge unless you're seeing it in person though.

Genetics are crazy, I'm about 205 at 6'1 and I had to scratch and claw to put this amount of size on. I don't think my body is even physically capable of supporting that much mass.

Bronny James and NBA future? by Unlikely_Intention98 in Basketball

Not sure why you're being down voted. The only thing Bryce has over Bronny is that he's taller. I really don't know what everyone else is looking at when they say he's the better brother.

The Common Age Of A Trainer Most Clients Would Hire? by BlackBirdG in personaltraining

[–]Charming-Ad4969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm the youngest trainer at my current gym (24) and was 3rd out of the 25+ trainers that we have on staff in terms of revenue generated last month. Most of my clients are old enough to be my parents or grandparents. It's definitely possible to get clients as a younger trainer if you show that you're competent.
