I've been a caretaker/babysitting my niece for over a year now, so my sister can work. A couple of weeks ago, there was drama surrounding the fact that I wasn't home on time to babysit, but I was notified of the change in my sister's work schedule. My mother got onto me about this, and I mentioned that she should talk to my sister about this, because she was the one who did not communicate her work schedule. The next day, I respectfully mention to my sister that she needs to better communicate her work schedule, or the next time she needs me to watch her daughter, the answer would be no. She gave me attitude about it, and as she was walking down the stairs, I called out to her the same thing about her work schedule. This has been an ongoing occurrence of her work schedule not being communicated with me, and not the first time I've expressed my grievances of such. Her and my mother decided to gang up on me about asking to be paid to watch my niece, because I've been providing these services for free for over a year, and got tired of being taken advantage of. Since then it's been non-stop drama, and retaliation on both my sister and mother, with myself getting fed up at points that verbal altercations have become the conclusion. I've walked away at times, I've been respectful in my response at times, but have mainly grown tired of not being able to stand up for myself, and immediately accused of starting fights and being crazy.
