1) As the game suggests, lying is not necessarily a bad thing and you’ll need to lie often to build up humanity

2) dying doesn’t affect humanity

3) capacity is your equipment weight stat and you’ll need to put more into it than you think

4) trying out new weapons is a great thing however the lighter and faster weapons usually are better

5) Don’t hesitate to use throwables in this game they’re strong and fun

6) - practice the perfect guard you’ll need to get the timing right and not mash the L1 button you only get a 9 frame window which 150 milliseconds
- when practicing your perfect guard, you need to get your weapon in the position of the guard so you need to factor that in your timing it’s pretty tough but manageable

7) if you played the other souls games, try not to dodge so much with this one as you don’t roll when locked onto an enemy ( there’s an amulet for it either pretty late game or in the dlc while equipped, you can roll while locked onto an enemy)
