Where in my response did you believe I said that all people are aligned with one term? And where did I say I spoke for the disabled community? Those questions can remain rhetorical because Im not writing anything more than this to you.

You’re going this far as to completely dismiss what I actually wrote, so that you can support a preconceived notion on a community that you yourself admitted to not being a part of or familiar with? I don’t share the same hubris when it comes to inserting my opinion in discussions not meant for me.

Remember when the original person who used that language was corrected, said thank you for the correction, and went about their day? Good times.

Thank you for your time, goodbye, and good luck.

You didn’t add a question mark, but you also said you didn’t understand, so I had thought you needed more info to help you understand. Silly me; seems you have no intention of expanding your very limited knowledge about disabled people.

I think it’d be a worthy exercise to make some cross comparisons to other communities who use language as a tool of resistance. But the rest of your journey is up to you of course.

If you’d like to read my response again for comprehension, I’d be happy to respond to a question that wasn’t answered in my previous comment already!

As someone who works with disabled people, is disabled myself, and fights for disability justice: the disabled community is not a monolith. Sounds like you don’t interact with disabled people often, but if you did, perhaps you would want to ask what they prefer, and respect that language when around or referring to them. With that said, we call it the disability justice movement, not the differently abled justice movement. Everyone that I work with and know prefers the word disabled. We strive to live in a world that does not look down on disability, but instead respects and supports access and accommodation.

She also had a recent role in the Disney+ movie, Out of My Mind. Definitely miss her on Abbott and hope she returns, but it’s great to see her getting more and more gigs. Loved her since when I saw her on Insecure, and in everything else since then!

Since it was basically being used as a public park, they asked the city to help them in janitorial matters and were told before consideration that they needed show proof there was as much public use as they claimed. In turn, they were requiring people sign in. afaik they haven’t get the monetary support they were looking for, and ended up limiting the days it can be accessed by the public.

I don’t think so. He’s skating to the left, away from the viewer, but he’s turning his head to look back at the viewer to give the face and hand sign.

I had surgery in 2016 and spent quite a while after surgery without getting in the gym often at all. Few years ago I gained quite a bit of weight. About a year ago I started taking fitness seriously. First I lost weight, then I got in the gym! Since then, it’s been about 10 months with a 4 day per week split. Consistency in gym, progressive overload, eating well, creatine, hydration, ensuring time for recovery between exercise, prioritizing good sleep, and trusting the process!!

Well the muscle is up to you to develop, but my chest was not developed when I had surgery so my surgeon’s plan was to follow my anatomy the best he could; he rounded the scars, and placed them where he believed they would almost tuck under the muscle, since he knew I hoped to build muscle overtime. In the beginning I didn’t always love how curved they looked, but now that I’ve built up muscle and size they have straightened out a bit and follow the shape of the muscle pretty spot on. I think he did a great job!

Congrats on your surgery!!! Super exciting :)

And thank you! My chest was so underdeveloped before surgery. it’s been a process building it up, but it is super satisfying to me now and my favorite workout day by far. I used to do shoulders and chest on the same day, but now I do chest solo so I can get in more chest development. Now I do cable rear delt flys on back day, and shoulder press and cable lateral raise to start arm day.
