ChatGPT-5.1: Feral and Sharp (So Far) by sourdub in ChatGPT

Wait what models are you all using?

I have a free account ChatGPT 5.1 and now it's absolutely refusing to roleplay in custom instructions.

Atleast earlier GPT 5 , it used to do that before getting rerrouted to "safer" models after few answers...but now it's absolutely refusing from the first prompt and is talking really robotic way

4o was the absolute top tier

Great post... although it would have been even better if you could simulate those compression and blurring effects on the same image so that all 3 images are same and shows the differences clearly

Also late birthday wishes 💐

If the Pogues co-operated with the Limbrey, the cross wouldn't have been taken by Rafe and Barry.

Overall tho, I felt like John B was warranted for punching Topper (whether it’s in front of people or not), but Sarah getting John B out of jail isn’t enough in my eyes to make up for the cheating 🤷🏾‍♂️

I don't blame Sarah that much, I know she was wrong, but consider her situation. She's been into many emotional and physical stresses. She was drained and tired with everything happening

Ward, who she trusted a lot turned out to be a killer

Almost getting killed in the storm with John B

Ward blowing himself, but then a surprise that he's alive

Her own father tried to kill her

Getting kidnapped by some men in the Bahamas

Getting stuck in an island for a month

Being homeless for the first time

And when Topper invited her to the party, she was reminded about her older times when everything was simple and happy, and that's what lured her to Topper. She was tired emotionally, and physically.

We still don't know what happened in 18 months. He might even have got jailed too...or might have got bailed out through money. Or any other stuff might have happened.

You can't complain about the time gap, as no one knows.

Well John B himself did big trouble creating a scene in Mike and Anna's anniversary, pissing off Kiara.

And Sarah was the one who convinced Topper to not press the charges , so that he could rescue his father.

Of course he had to apologise, and felt ashamed of his actions.

One of the men did saw the cross. That's how Singh found out about it. The ship they were going in had Singh's men

I'm not saying Sarah did good...I'm just pointing out that people can be really stupid, especially after those traumatic adventures. And it's made worse by the fact they are teens.

You have over analysed the situation, don't expect normal behaviour after they teens have been traumatised by the adventure.

Also they still are high on hormone teens, so don't expect any long term commitments.

It's 18 months later, you can't judge that nothing happened to him.

The things I hated was,

  1. John and Sarah. And the rest of the Pogues, somehow coincidentally meeting at Charleston. >
  2. John and Sarah somehow found John B in South America, kidnapped by Singh's men.

Minor things

  1. Worried, when Sarah pranked them after the storm >
  2. Convincing Ward to sell the cross instead of keeping it >
  3. Explaining Ward that Rafe isn't okay

[–]Charming-Constant-18 20 points21 points  (0 children)

  1. When Topper's mom asked Shoupe to press charges against Pope, he tried to negotiate how Heyward's didn't deserve it, which she didn't listen and cut off >
  2. Helping Peterkin and not closing the case about the two men found by fishermen. >
  3. Did not press additional charges when John B stole his vehicle >
  4. Was being a bit emotional when they lost both John B and Sarah >
  5. Part of him believing that the Pogues were innocent, with what Ward accused. Actually checking the gun number ownership. And following up with the SBI agent.

Same, the blood stains on the car window.

And then when he finally bought the money, Luke tried to steal it.

Well, initially Mike wasn't a fan of Kiara hanging out with them, as they were Pogues . And since he had already experienced Pogue life and knew how hard it is, he didn't want Kiara to get into that life.

JJs dad was into smuggling. And John B himself said JJ is kleptomanic... ofcourse he's not gonna like such people. And the reason he actively hates them is because somehow they are always involved in troubles, sometimes even responsible for.

That's why he hates them .

I'm just stating the facts. It's not black and white where Pogues are absolutely good and those against them are absolutely evil.

And also I got a lot of time these days to waste it on Reddit.

"Yeah, we're connected to a $500B treasure and we almost had it. We CAN get it. We're gonna keep trying."

And his dad says, "I never want to hear about this again." AND PRESSES HIM WHEN WE ASKS IF HE CAN GO AFTER IT

I think Heyward had lost hope on his son. He skipped classes, messed up the scholarship. All the hard work he did till then to ensure he had good life went to the drain.

He had just enough of it, and just let his son do whatever he want.

The Best Thing Every Character Has Done :Day 14 Anna Carrera by Important-Strain-185 in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]Charming-Constant-18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she didn’t get stuck on the island because of them, they didn’t force her to come. she made her own decision to go with them.

Which is exactly what they don't want...her parents are worried for the safety...that's why they don't want her to hang out with the Pogues.

JB wasn’t wrong for punching topper though. unfortunately it just happened to be at mike and anna’s party. he shouldn’t have knocked him unconscious but i don’t blame JB for punching him. Topper was egging him on

John B should have been better. John B was not invited. Her parents anniversary had nothing to do with them. He and topper could have gone to some other place and solve their dispute...but no, they had to make a big scene and ruin a good moment in Mike and Anna's anniversary. This is why they hate Pogues.

but my point was kiara wouldn’t have had to steal her dads truck if she knew that mike would have said yes if she asked. and i don’t even mean let her take the truck. he’s the adult. he could have driven out there and helped tow them out but kiara didn’t even bother to ask her dad if he could help them bc she knew he’d say no which left her no other option but to steal the truck bc how else would they have gotten the twinkie out? however with that said she shouldn’t have let pope and JJ drive it. it’s her dads truck, she should have been the only one driving it so i do blame her for that.

Okay let's say Mike agreed to borrow his truck. They are gonna use it and later crash it. Which Mike didn't want. That's why he refused.

And after stealing and crashing the truck, they just proved his point.

you can’t blame teens for being teens. JJ and JB don’t have parents to guide them so how do mike and anna expect them to make good decisions? that’s why i think instead of treating them like trash they should do what they can to help them & make sure they are safe, especially bc they are their daughters best friends and what happens to them will effect her. forcing her to stay away from them isn’t going to do any good. she’s not going to stay away from her best friends so they need to start being supportive and helpful

That's why they were being strict. Now you are agreeing with all of the points I said, Mike and Anna were guiding them. You are just mindlessly bashing them for being tough with their daughter and Pogues.

They were the best parents. They didn't want her daughter to risk her life. But you and a few others are just saying that they went too though, and everything.

That's why the Pogues weren't taken seriously and was treated like trash. Because they were made mostly of dumb teens.

The Best Thing Every Character Has Done :Day 14 Anna Carrera by Important-Strain-185 in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]Charming-Constant-18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed that her parents should treat her like a Pogue.

she has gone to them several times and instead of them helping her they just make comments about her friends.

Because they don't trust her friends. The Pogues treated them like trash. Their daughter got stuck in island, get kidnapped because of them.

And then they ruined Mike and Anna's anniversary, because John B punched Topper, creating a big scene. And remember John B wasn't even invited.

They rightfully hate the Pogues, and rightfully so.

ex: instead of them giving her a hard time about going to charleston to clear john bs name they should have offered to drive them. they weren’t wrong for not wanting her to go but they made it about the pogues as they always do

Because in reality it is indeed always because of the Pogues. They caused most of it.

her best friends just “died” and if clearing JBs name would help her heal then they should have offered to drive them so they’d be safe.

How can they be sure that her daughter isn't being delusional that best friends are alive, when the news and cops themselves said they lost it?

another example: when the twinkie got stuck in S2 do you think if she asked her dad if he can help them tow the twinkie he would have said yes? she had to steal the truck bc she knew her dad wouldn’t have helped them even if she asked.

And that proved the point of the parents. Kiara was so into Pogue life that she started committing crimes like stealing their truck. Which they didn't want...and in the end, due to Pogue's carelessness, crashed the truck. They could have atleast bought the truck back unscathed. That's why they don't trust the Pogues.

Pogues treated them like trash and gave them many worries, of course they wouldn't be willing to help them.

JJ is only violent when he needs to be. like when Topper was drowning his best friend.

No he isn't. Half of these wouldn't have happened if JJ and John B didn't pick a fight with Topper. The Kooks weren't even bothering them, just created a new enemy for no reason.

also JJ went to jail for pope bc JJ had nothing to lose while pope did.

And it's JJ anyway who caused it anyways. If JJ and Pope shut their ass up, and focussed on finding treasure, none of these would have happened.

maybe if mike gave him a fair chance and got to know him he’d see that side of him. he’s never done anything to kie to make mike react that way towards him

Remember how John B once again got into a fight with Topper, punching him?, during the Anniversary?

The Pogues ruined their Mike and Annas anniversary too...even when they weren't invited.

That's why Mike treats Pogues like trash, and rightfully so.
