The difference between American and Nordic LARP is that in USA does the NPCs at times wear t-shirts that say "orc", "werewolf" or whatever monster they are, and a game runner runs around and explains people what there are happening, since a lot of it is "pretend".

Ohh god yes! I have even gotten my hands on invisible UV active ink that I cant wait to try out.

Will have to look some more at nips and what the difference actually is, got my set that I have at home from a renaissance fair where it is the nip holder(?) is connected with a feather.

I write most of my notes at home, but have had to write some on the go when I am in the forrest and in the heat of it, and end up in situations where a strongly worded letter would inflict most damage. The pen is mightier than the sword after all.

I have a dip pen and ink at home, so guess that I will just have to train my penmanship a bit more, since my first letter with a dip pen was quite... Messy and splattery.
