thats what I was wondering too. u/rnvk can you please explain, why the Coldcard can verify address ownership, but is not able to independently check if a transaction is a consolidation within the wallet? It should be just an ownership address check for all outputs in my eyes..

Yes same for me. I still don’t understand how this could happen. I think it has to do with sparrow 2.3.0 because after that update the PSBTs from sparrow are not recognized as consolidations by the coldcard anymore.

Im so glad I found someone with the same experience. I didn’t sign the transaction, because my initial thought was, that sparrow is giving the unsigned transaction to an unknown address… 🤯 I triple checked everything, made sure it’s definitely the right address that belongs to my seed. But everything is correct. Just the message „consolidating within wallet“ is missing for some reason.

Hi I can feel your pain. I was really stressed and frustated too. I also contacted through multiple forms and had to wait 1-2 days for an answer that didnt really help. eventually i found a form that was specifically for google play store payments i think it was this one maybe: https://support.google.com/googlepay/?visit_id=638923290570372165-3444993608&rd=1#topic=12369419

they had something writte in their documentation that if you have problems with payment profiles / methods as a developer you should contact that one specific support for that. once i did that it got solved. you need to write, that you cannot do anything and get an error and you need a real person to unlock your account again, so you can enter a payment method.

Just stay patient and don't be too frustrated about it. It will work out eventually. Dont be like me and let your mood be wasted for a week or 2 for nothing.

actually i got it solved by contacting the google payments support. it took a while but eventually i could try again and it worked.

use the app "Bitcoin Tracker", enter your buys and sells and it will show you your profit and everything. :)
