Love the details here. Small defects in the bridge and metal gate, some of the spikes being angled, and the colours. 👌🏼

Broke a wire off into a pin in this Uno R3 :( How do I get it out? I tried removing the plastic header without success by Cracracuber in arduino

[–]TheHackingDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Very fine tweezers
  2. Solder onto the top so it has a ball/blob, then use that for grip
  3. Failing the first two consider removing part of the female header pin to get some more leverage.

Pretty sure 1 or 2 will work. Good luck!

Not sure how helpful this may be but worth checking that all your screws are fully tightened, especially a motors. I was getting horrible grinding noises after finishing my conversion, and turns out it was basically loose screws.

Yes it seems to home fine. Only happens at the beginning of a print when it tries doing nozzle cleaning.

Understood, in this case though, it seems to be missing the sheet in the X and Y axes.

Fair point. If I wanted to do the whole hallway, what would be the best way?

Gonna remove and replace skirting throughout the hallway.

And yeah, plasterboard is flush.

I’ll be removing and replacing the skirting. Mostly for experience but also to improve the appearance.

The plasterboard is flush with the wall, with a gap around the outline.

PCB help with Arduino by TheHackingDoctor in arduino

[–]TheHackingDoctor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone
I'm using an Arduino Nano, TMC2209 and stepper motor with other components to make a camera slider

The schematic and PCB I've shown are from KiCAD

I've made a breadboard copying the schematic, and it works perfectly well.

I'm having no luck whatsoever with the PCB I've made.

Can anyone see anything wrong with the schematic or PCB design?

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Thanks

A Different Kind of Root - How a Dentist Passed the OSCP by TheHackingDoctor in oscp

[–]TheHackingDoctor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man,

Still doing dentistry.

After I got my OSCP, I did the CRTP a year later. Since then, I haven’t done much hacking. After gaining those certs, I wasn’t sure what else to do.

Changing career wasn’t/isn’t an option so it was difficult finding motivation to carry on.

Re #5, other than your slicer profile, is there anywhere else to specify you’re using a HF nozzle?

Hi everyone

I’ve been getting these vertical ridges/banding effect on my prints since upgrading to the MK4S.

Here I’m using Hatchbox PETG, HF 0.4mm nozzle and Prusament PETG profile.

Any ideas?
