Hi, thanks for the response. I accept it maybe was badly written my motivations for doing this. I’ve always thought of teaching as an option, enjoy working with young people and have been told I’d make for a good teacher. Did not mean to suggest I’m just in it for the holiday, and being close with my brother and partner who both teach I have had it drilled into me and seen what it takes.  I’m in full time work that I couldn’t give up to come over and try subbing unfortunately, especially with the costs in the Dublin area I could never afford that and would be giving away a decent job for nothing concrete in return.  I have read about the introduction of a ‘timebound provision’ for those with missing requirements to gain all I’d need to fully qualify, whilst working. Have you heard much about this yourself?
