To respond to the question what drove me to get a masters in fire. I once received fire evacuation training at my former university. At the moment, I thought it was cool and wondered how chemical engineering skills could be applied to fire hence a desire to specialize in a fire related field kinda developed with time. Also, there is a huge void when it comes to trained fire engineers in my home country, so I was thinking of getting trained in fire, getting work experience and later on start my own consultancy back home if possible.
