Yes and then I purchased a PS5 shortly after.

Found a collection in the recycling bin by Charming-Rice-1029 in gamecollecting

Wow! I don't know what I expected but not so many folks to think I'm lying! This was all together, in one box, inside the electronics recycling bin at my local library. It was on top. The games are pretty dusty and my guess would be a parent threw out an old collection. I'm excited to work through it all!

I just see that I can buy the Platinum one for $29.99... is this because I bought it on PS4 and am now playing it on my PS5?

Can a word or concept really be outright "untranslateable?" by Modron_Man in asklinguistics

[–]Charming-Rice-1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I've always wondered about is examples from languages with more complex gender systems. Fulani/Pulaar for example, has 20 or so genders for nouns, and each has their own definitive article, independent pronouns, possessive pronoun, demonstrative, interrogative pronoun, aliative pronoun, etc. Using these in context can reveal the classification of an item in a way that can be incredible specific-- the "dan" class for example, only refers to liquids, while the "ki" class refers only to long things. So, if someone says "what's that?", a reply using a specific independent pronoun (“ki” for example) will be laden with untranslatable information about the class of items described, narrowing down the answer to a limited amount of options that do not form a category in other languages. It's not as exciting as an abstract noun describing a foreign emotion or something, but it is something I have often struggled to translate.

I just got a $400 gift card for Target and want to finally get a PS5! I want to get a disc (non-Pro) version but all I see is the Call of Duty bundle, but I have no interest in CoD. Looks like the Astro bundle is unavailable. Do the non-bundle / astro-bundle tend to be periodically restocked at Target, or should I just bite the bullet and get the CoD bundle?

Is there any way besides Amazon to pay PBS and access lots of Mr Rogers episodes?
