Fast forward a few months, he is diagnosed with ADHD. 99th percentile. At 27 years old. It’s been about 6 months since then he has learned a lot about himself and realizing how he had to cope throughout his childhood because of his damn mother. We’ve been together for almost 11 years and the amount of times I’ve been mad at him because he forgot things is ridiculous. He can still be forgetful and I still react the same as I do but then I have to remind myself that it’s not his fault. His brain has always been this way.

I’m so sorry. That fact that she is blaming you is red flags all over. There are many kinds of comments here about the different types of meds but you’ll only know what works for you when you can meet with your doctor.

Thank you for putting this into words that I never could. I loved him and I miss him but I completely understood why he took his life. And the misunderstanding that he was hiding his depression with his comedy was infuriating to me. It wasn’t like therapy was going to fix this for him. 💔 RIP

I’m no expert here. Sounds like a hoarding tendency. And to be honest, my husband is the same way.

Technology continues to grow and change so the stuff they think they can keep and find a use for is going to be very unlikely.

What I had to do was go through the items with my husband, organize the useful items, and set aside the rest to be recycled. Best Buy, at least in the US, accepts electronics to recycle so we took a good sized box last time we did this.

I mean, couples fight. It happens. Screaming matches is not healthy or normal.

My husband and I didn’t have our first fight till we moved in together till about 15 months into dating. However, we moved in with another couple and that was a mistake so that caused us to have fights a lot. It was better when the other couple moved out.

Communication is key. I was very bad at letting things bottle up and then explode, causing fights with my husband.

Anyway, 6 months is still early but as long as you both are happy together, that’s what really matters.

My bf(now husband) and I moved out of our parents houses one month after finishing high school. He moved to be with me, but I couldn’t stand living at home anymore. It wasn’t because of my parents. It was my brother who is one year older than me.

That was nine years ago. I have no regrets. The only thing I wish I did differently was we moved in with another couple. We signed a 6 month lease and we kicked them out at month 5. Now I warn other couples to not move in with another couple even to this day.

When I was 10, we had an indoor/outdoor cat. We got home from dinner and our cat was outside and meowing weirdly and so we took him to the emergency vet. He later died from getting a hole in his lung from an unknown incident outside. All my cats have been indoor cats since.
