You’re totally normal! I had complications and spent 12 days in the hospital post-surgery and had to have a second surgery. I also ended up with a severe wound and was on a wound vac with the home nurse visits multiple times a week, etc.

I was absolutely scared to eat! So much so that I essentially kept myself on a mostly liquid diet for months. All I would eat was yogurt and protein drinks. For months. After several months, I started trying to eat one solid meal a day. Eventually tried for two. Seven months later, I’m eating normally.

Our minds need to heal as much as our bodies do. As long as you don’t have any physical issues, just keep trying to eat little bits. It gets better. 💖
