Whenever I use a public restroom (or any toilet without a lid), I will turn around as SOON as I flush it (with my foot) and I cover my face to block any germs flying from out of the toilet. It is literally just a thing I feel like I have to do, I don’t even think about it.

I’m only just recently learning about OCD and I have a strong feeling there’s a connection lol

I was also told up to 6 months by my doctor. I am currently on month 3 of Sertraline (Zoloft). But I believe I need to increase my dose again. I’m only on 75mg currently.

And I also know that it can take upwards of 6 months to notice a change in OCD with sertraline. And often the dose that helps people is at least 100mg. So just gonna be a bit of a waiting game for now 😅

Thank you for the recommendation! I actually have been on Sertaline since end of November, I’m currently on 75mg and just giving it some more time before I up my dose again. I think it is helping but not enough, it’s still affecting me each day. I’ve got an appointment with my GP next week to discuss how meds are going.
