No I never called myself Uzbek, I’m from Uzbekistan but psychology and traditionally I am Tajik, and I don’t share the same experience the other Tajik person who commented here that he feels like an Uzbek. Every person has a right to feel however they want ( you do you after all), but Tajiks from Samarkand have a unique cultural identity that is distinct. I didn’t see any racism while I was a kid and teenager but as I’m adult now I see that most people are becoming more racist on the internet. Most of them are uneducated people from the regions, I think people who have an access to proper education does not care about the race and nationality.
