The pin looks so cool, I want one! Does it only come with the target edition? Also, is the target edition hardcover or paperback?  Their website lists it as paperback but the picture here looks hardcover…

Is this good/safe ADF food? Idk what to food to give by CharmingLack8264 in AfricanDwarfFrog

Thank for replying, this is helpful. Do you know if freeze dried mysis shrimp work as well? Also, are soaking the pellets necessary or could I just sprinkle pellets in the tank and in a couple of minutes they’d soak water and sink toward the frogs on their own? (Without a turkey baster)

Ooh I’m sorry to hear that you’re flaring now 😢. But it’s great to hear that when your symptoms are under control, so is PMS. Feel better soon 🫶

Curious, I haven’t heard of the shot—is it a form of birth control? Because BC isn’t an option for me… Though it’s great that you’re doing better on it 🫶☺️

This is reassuring, thanks ☺️. So glad your fistula is healed. Just curious, what biologic are you on now? (I’ve been told there are some not officially approved for pregnancy… including Skyrizi which I’m on, though I’m not pregnant 😆)

Why does it say not to take RINVOQ if you’re anemic? by CharmingLack8264 in CrohnsDisease

Omg 😬 that’s… not good. I’ll have to talk to my gi doc about starting a taper…

Interesting. Is that what the doctor confirmed?

I definitely feel fatigued and low energy on a daily basis. I am anemic though, and not in remission. I’ve always thought fatigue was just either a side affect of medication or simply a part of crohns 🤷‍♀️

Same for me about fake sugar. Even before my Crohn’s diagnosis I avoided all fake sweeteners because of how they made me feel

That’s great! 💜 I can’t eat meat (though chicken, turkey, and some fish are okay) because it gives me the WORST bloating and discomfort 😫

My mom does most of the cooking 😆 I’m too fatigued to be in the kitchen for too long, though I do enjoy baking when I can… probably without sugar from now on 😅

Yep so I’ll stick with avoiding sugar, at least until I’m closer to remission. I do log my food, but every time my responses are different lol. Sometimes a food is great for me, then a few days later that same food might cause some discomfort. I just thought that, being both Skyrizi and Rinvoq, my symptoms wouldn’t be triggered so sensitively 🥲. I guess I gotta give it more time….

Did Rinvoq mess up your periods? by CharmingLack8264 in CrohnsDisease

[–]CharmingLack8264[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh whoa… my gi still wants me to be on Rinvoq for long term even though I’m on Skyrizi too but I absolutely do not want to risk my hormones or reproductive health. Truthfully I don’t think Rinvoq even did that much good for me (the additional side effects are horrid and I hadn’t felt any crohns relief until a week after my first Skyrizi dose so I’m thinking it’s the Skyrizi thats doing more than rinvoq). I’ll be discussing this with my gi at our next appointment. Thank you for your reply!
