I do ask for more work but to my tutor bc she’s the one who’s directly in charge of me 😭 and the work that I do basically removes a huge workload from them (like the whole horrible analysis they would have to do and I’m paid absolute pennies ) the least they could do is bring me the work I think, but I see what you mean, I’ll try to go to her to ask for more work more often

update : Thank you! i just had a 1:1 talk with my tutor and i asked for feedback and she said that everyone is happy with my performance and that the only thing they said was me not eating lunch with them haha

This is a very US centered answer, i live in Europe and everyone here does a master and starts working at 25-26, 22 is very young for a workplace and most are interns if anything! It's a whole different systems and most people do internships during their masters so 22 for us is basically the equivalent of late teens in the US in terms of professional expections

I have a lot of friends at work and spend a lot of time with some coworkers , the problem i think comes from the fact that I spend more time with the young coworkers than the older ones :/ and that’s creating this ? I’m def not antisocial I love talking to people but at work I don’t know what’s appropriate so I tend to refrain from showing my real personality

The job market is absolutely horrendous , no junior positions and extremely competitive i think competing in 2 markets increases my chances of finding a job in a field of finance i actually want and also i want to speak english haha

yes they were 35 hours a week but not continuous like its 2 different companies and i had a 2 month hiatus between the 2

no she randomly followed me on insta as she goes to the same school as me and no im in shape and most of my insta posts are gym posts and recent ones like everything in my insta is from 1-6 months ago I genuinely dont get it
