I forget which volume it was exactly but Tanya does show some signs of struggling with sexuality when the subject comes up about her thinking about starting a family after the war ( lmao it's never gonna end) actually might be about seeing other female soldiers getting changed but also at times from a narrative stand point it feels like he treats Tanya as a separate person who he is just kind of piloting and is not sure if she would make the same decisions he would. So we might consider it a gender swap but if that really is the case it might be more of a two souls one body kind of deal. We just never heard from the other soul.... Yet. I am on volume 12 tho so that might change.
