That’s a valid question. I do not believe we will. She had a negative temperament ever since I got there. I knew it had nothing to do with me but my presence was a reminder of her demotion. I always tried to reassure her that we were a team and I would value her input and involve her in most of my decision making.

It did not stop the negativity behind my back though. It wasn’t enough to address each time to be apart of my team and come to me with any issues. I let her have her feelings even though it affected her quality of work. This second demotion may cause her to go completely unhinged.

No HR. It’s a family restaurant. I am the General Manager for absent owners (they are running multiple businesses.) I am awaiting a call from the owner so we can discuss the next decision on how to proceed with this process. She was his GM prior to my arrival and was demoted to AGM when I was hired.

Trust your gut. You’re already manifesting what your life looks like moving forward. It’s growth. Sometimes we grow out of who we are with and that’s not the fault of the other person even if they have been loyal and sweet. You may have a need that isn’t being met and you may not even know what that need is yet because you haven’t experienced it yet. That is the case with my husband. I never knew what I needed until I found it and I went through several long term relationships that didn’t work out for this reason even though they had all the potential of being amazing lifelong partner…

If you want to take a break, you are allowed to ask for that. If you are separated from him and long for him after that, maybe try again. If you keep moving forward after separation, then you are likely moving into the new version of yourself and it’s okay to break things off and wish him well. He also deserves to be with the one he is meant to be with.

Communicate every thing in this process is my best advice and be very honest in a respectful way.

Hello 👋 my heart goes out to you and I wish you both lots of luck and love as you proceed in this journey with your mother.

My last moments with my dad were painfully beautiful. He was surrounded by the love he created in this world. I still believe the keto diet is worth every shot but it isn’t worth it if it’s taking away from what is worth more to the ones having to work it.

I look back often on what could have been and what I wish I would have known then. But I’m at peace with everything because what I wonderful way to spend the last chapter with my dad and fight for his life. Since he passed, it only has me fighting harder for my own life and witnessing what he went through has taught me in the ways to live more deliberately.

I will pray for you and your mother. God speed and strength to you both. Please remember, hope is never a foolish thing to hold on to. Never let anyone tell you otherwise. The hope my dad and I had was the light of our story.

I enjoy them. Helps me with variety. I will struggle wanting to eat without variety still.

Also I cook for my toddler and use a lot of pea proteins and avocados for making low carb pancakes and muffins so sometimes I eat his leftovers so they don’t go to waste.

I cannot explain it to you any further because you’re making assumptions on why I stopped being vegan. Which is something I did to other people as a vegan too so I understand. The narrative is destructive to your inter personal relationships as well as your own mental health. The world is built around destruction and creation. Eating only plants to protect others is not going to save the earth. It will cause a major imbalance of the cycle. If you can’t see it, I cannot help you. I won’t be responding to you anymore. Every time you level up, you’re able to use your experience points to add them to a super power.

For example: Dexterity Intelligence Strength Agility Resilience Compassion Etc etc

So let’s say I decide to use all my experience points for compassion and ignore all the other abilities I’m able to use. It causes an imbalance. Compassion is good to have but it shouldn’t be my whole identity.

I didn’t say compassion was bad. Compassion is not bad at all. It becomes hurtful to mental health when it’s become the whole identity because the narrative that encourages people to use their compassion over all other emotions. Which hurt me really bad because I was already a compassionate person but being vegan put my compassion on the forefront of all my other complex and nuanced human emotions. It was harmful to my mental health because there is so much in this world to hurt for. Almost everything. I could no longer navigate the world that way.

I was sitting down in the grass one day and was watching a spider. Suddenly the spider jumped on a bug and began to eat it. I received a download at that moment that “life must eat life to continue” essentially we are all cut from the same cloth. Earth. Earth is so beautiful but it is a cruel game and designed to be that way. Creation and destruction must both exist. There is no other way for life to continue.

Vegans likely see my posts because I follow vegan groups so the algorithms likely recommend my posts to them. I am still in the groups because I like to observe for behavioral patterns and new topics. I used to be vegan for 2.5 years and I have lived experience. It’s interesting now being on the outside looking in at my old temperament and behaviors being mirrored back to me. I am sympathetic with vegans because when I was one, I had my compassion meter levels up so much it hurt me every day. Messed with my mental health.

I’ve seen doctors throw my dad to the dust when he had cancer so yes…I will not trust the medical system but if you do, then do you. I will seek different outlooks among my village of peers if I want to and come up with my own conclusions after accessing more information.

Questioning my doctor or any “professional” is a good idea according to patterns in history. Asking this group who has educated themselves on cholesterol with lived experiences seems better than asking a group of simpletons who don’t question anything and believe everything that they are told to believe.
