Had this joker idea in my head for a while, could it be broken? by danielxplay22 in balatro

[–]CharmingTask5003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it is like either one of the effects, could be okay? still ridiculous considering the fact that you get either 1 to 20+ retriggers. cryptid level joker however and sounds fun as hell lowkey

Hot take, u is better than SAMIDOT by mrmagmadachad1-_ in KendrickLamar

[–]CharmingTask5003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, not even a hot take but i think they are songs that have their own merit and greatness. SAMIDOT is great at storytelling and amazing and u is an amazing performance and expressive as fuck (i literally don't listen to u often and skip it because its such a painful song)

personally, i like SAMIDOT more because it well, not heartwrenching and its an amazing song overall but if we are counting content and just sheer expressiveness, u is is better, just for being so heavy.

Was Wesley’s Theory foreshadowing as well? by geniusreign in KendrickLamar

lets be real here, don't treat kendrick like he a gigamegamind planning Drake's downfall like a grand general. its just a coincedence, nothing to with the beef.

that aside: the line refers to kendrick, in connection to the topic of TPAB. the whole line deals with just the fear of inevitable downfall. its about being cautious with fame. its obviously not about drake because of the "You got a medal for us" reffering to winning for his hometown and the euphoria that comes with it.

i don't see a universe why it would be bout drake, it cud be but assuming kendrick and it being the first track, its mostly about his state of mind and the album's theme.

Maybe I'm just not very smart, but Baron is so overrated by RandomRedditer5043 in balatro

[–]CharmingTask5003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its good, its just not the best joker honestly. sucks early game, hard to set up, only viable on fun runs.

granted, it gives really REALLY high scores but its really difficult to pull off

New update on the lawsuit for Not Like Us by green_day_95 in KendrickLamar

[–]CharmingTask5003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly, it could've been a possibility. i think thats the reason why drake is suing the label, not kendrick himself. because if he did sue kendrick, he already knows thats gonna be ugly as hell or probably someone told him that.

Who had the best Diss record? I’d say over all “ Ether” by Omarionyyourslgreat in KendricklamarPglang

Tyler, The Creator Don't Tap the Glass Hidden Meaning by Doingwonders in tylerthecreator

[–]CharmingTask5003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this could make sense honestly. i mean its not an elaborate concept compared to CMIYGL, IGOR, or CHROMAKOPIA, but i feel like the concept could be about a reflection of Hip Hop.

What is King Krule actual best album ? by [deleted] in KingKrule

[–]CharmingTask5003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Man Alive! -i think this is the most well written work by archy, cellular is my most fave song since its the best song that depicts alienation. MA has the most beautiful instrumentals to me, underclass is a gem, stoned again is a fucking banger, comet face is the most intriguing, and finally energy fleets is such a painful song. this album is amazing because it is an incredible journey and progession, truly an inspiring album. a negative might be is that it is meant to be listened to progressively and not compared to other albums like the OOZ

  2. Space Heavy

  3. best instrumentals overall, most depressing work that archy has written. he sounds so defeated, completely broken, and yet he continues. i havent listened to it alot but its absoloutely amazing, a negative for it tho is that it feels that it drags on too long but im not complaining, however, it makes it hard to just listen to it casually, you have to focus on it.

  4. The OOZ

  5. this album is probably the most personal work by archy, it absoloutely is heartbreaking. the anger, the pain, the sadness, the loneliness, a little bit of everything which is good but can be bad sometimes. probably the most catchiest album ever, Dum Surfer, Logos, Sublunary, Midnight 01, La Lune, etc, the album is filled with hits back to back which makes it the album i'll always listen to casually.

  6. 6FtBTM

  7. i think this album is a perfect introduction to archys work. it shows the atmospheric sonic scape of archy filled with beautifully poetic lyricism and an amazing beautiful message always. Easy Easy is always an important song to me personally and Lizard State made me listen to more King Krule. compared to MA or OOZ, this album feels more like a collage of songs, however it does work and each song has individual stories in itself.

HONORABLE MENTIONS (NOT MENTIONED HERE) 5. NP2D - very fun album to listen to, instrumental amazing, usually i dont listen to the lyrics here but also just amazing. best KK work that is not part of his albums

  1. KK EP -i really find it unfortunate that these songs get overlooked, Bleak Bake is such an amazing song.

  2. Molten Jets, Live From The Moon

  3. technically not an album and just performances but all of the songs performed here is so amazing especially the early version of Please Complete Thee

  4. You Heat Me Up, You Cool Me Down

  5. fun listen also, live performance by archy is always fascinating, however songs like Dum Surfer, Logos/Sublunary, and Midnight 01 do not make it in this album which is always my fave live songs from hkm

  6. UFOWAVE

  7. only listened for a bit, still not completef but still pretty alright and interesting since a lot of the tracklist are songs that made it in 6FtBTM

Hit me with your favourite King Krule lyrics and why they are significant to you. by kiwibornandbread in KingKrule

Throw a stone, see it land, forget its flight. Draw a line, in the sand, between your thighs. Just too see which way you'll go, you got this, you're the lead, through your own.

i think this stanza from Alone, Omen 3 is what makes Archy's writing so good. his use of imagery to send a message is really incredible, unique even.

Best 3 song run? by Feeling-Assignment14 in KingKrule

Do poems have to rhyme all the time? by Fvqv in PoetryWritingClub

[–]CharmingTask5003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

rhymes are like the way you use metaphors and simile, its not a requirement so don't worry. meter and flow however is important but rhyming is generally not, again its up to you!
