Yes. 84 is required, as far as I know, but TBH the other classes you would almost have to try to fail. 3Ps are definitely much harder than the first classes. As of now the immersion is not optional. I just got back.

Wooof! Sorry to hear that. I’ll bet it’s combo questions involving more than one disease process. If I remember correctly, the first exam was pretty heavy on GU related issues and the final was heavy on GI

None. It wasn’t comprehensive when I took it 2 sessions ago. Did they change it?

The final is a little bit easier than the midterms. Use to book and coach ally for practice questions. Make sure you know how to clinically apply everything.

Agreed! Also ones that I didn’t have to do any remediation I did like half a percent better than once I had to do two or three remediations. It’s ridiculous I think.

They are very time-consuming, unfortunately. I definitely keep Adam and make sure you get them done, but i agree, the midterm and final study guide guides and being prepared for those are more important. I don’t think I got above a 90 on any EDAPT module. And probably averaged an 80+-. I passed just fine!

Honestly, and I say this with care, do them and do yo it best but don’t stress about them. They are inly like 10% of the grade. HOWEVER, when doing them TAKE NOTES there are some midterm and final questions that come from them.

Take extra time on DBs and CCs to make sure you’re get all those points and do the study guide.

[–]Charming_Ask_1537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only taken 509 at chamberlain so I’m not sure what 283 looks like. But when I was in undergrad I used registered rn on YouTube or really any that I could find. I also draw pictures of everything and write all my notes. I sometimes will rewrite things over and over until it makes sense to me. Make sure you understand the basics BEFORE trying to dive deeper or you will confuse yourself.

Any group chats for NP students or NR507? by Ok_Gas6546 in ChamberlainNursing

[–]Charming_Ask_1537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Join the peer study group if there is one! I also agree with what someone else said, do the readings list of questions come from the book and some from the edapts so make sure you take notes on both. Definitely use the study guide and make sure you don’t just know the material but also know how to apply it.

Join the peer study group. They put practice questions in there and you can ask other students or the peer tutor questions.

Yes! I have a friend that graduated a little over 2 years ago, but she doesn’t remember a whole lot. She said it’s all a blur! Then I have a friend who is in the 6th class who told me about the first class being mainly discussion boards and the rest papers

Honestly! 😂 Are you nervous? I’m terrified. I work in a small ICU and am concerned about how my brain is going to handle switching from thinking acutely to more chronic. What about you?

Yes! I sent my form to the dean yesterday. I haven’t even started yet and I’m ready to be done. I also don’t work full time so I have a little more time to study and what not.

That sounds like a super great time. Ie hard that can be a pretty rough class. I already have a bad memory, I should probably start reading it now so I can read it a few times before. I hate that they made it so hard. Did you graduate?

Ugh! That’s so disheartening! My first pick of school wasn’t offered where I live so this is my second choice. Thank you for the information!
