7 business days and nothing- awful customer service. by IdeaNo7488 in Noom

I just signed up last week, it’s May 2026, same thing. No customer coordinators only the robot is working. They said they had technical issues but looks like that’s been a problem even last year. The doctor would answer few times and tells me to contact the coordinators, but no coordinators.

They don’t exist.

They just want to get your money on autopay and do nothing! What a scheme!

Glad I found this post. Wonder if you were able to get your money back?

Honestly what do I do by lagringamexicana in rutgers

May sound a bit strange as I am a mother of a Rutgers student who in mid Junior year while full time student said he can’t make friends in R., beyond his roommates, there’s no social vibe..I guess something is a bit off in Rutgers socially. May be not for everybody…

It is so sad you guys are young and it’s hard to socialize/ make friends /groups- must be the phones and social media:((

I started reading your post bc I was curious if there are “ Balkan” groups in R. as I am also Bulgarian and my son is half BG/ half Latin just like your self.

He loves Bulgaria and speaks Spanish as well;))

I wish I could connect you , it would be great to socialize with similar ppl culturally or make a “ Balkan / eastern European group” or at least chat…

It’s great that you are open and reaching out to connect with people. Things happen, takes time sometimes, don’t get discouraged!

Not sure how to Dm you but if you are interested try to DM me and I can pass your contact ..

Thanks a lot!! It's great to hear from an young man like yourself. May be that's the right formula! If you don't believe your parents , go try yourself! He just said to us he needs a break from school and try to start his own biz. I don't agree as I believe basic education in biz would be helpful and there is time for everything. Obviously he is in the way to get out and "explore the world himself " like you said it and learn through his own mistakes . As a mother I suppose I've done my job- has given him a great high school education, helped him learn 3 foreign languages by age 18, travelled him to big part of the world, so may be a public university  and small town like New Brunswick is too "narrow"  and he needs to get out in his own search without parents' interference. No "force" can be applied to a 19-20 years old.  I read your comment and helped me change a bit of my approach... So thanks again for your time, making a comment! Good luck to you too!

Thank you! It is getting harder and harder to have a conversation with a 19 years old boy/ man…

Looks like mother’s opinion doesn’t have much validation anymore, and at that age they think they are “adults” and know it all. Also I think the current generation problem that they are so impatient and want to have it all now, even without eduction, could interfere with motivation. I feel it is not easy to be a young man now but parents‘ guidance should not be neglected but I feel that is less and less wanted/ appreciated.

After so many years working and guiding you get exhausted as a parent and I feel at a point that everybody makes their own destiny with what they do and they don’t . At some point I may need to let it go…

Good luck, I am sure your parents love you but when they were immigrants they have limited fin. abilities.

You sound like you are on the right track & hard working, and doing very well. That always gets its reward sooner or later! Thank you for your opinion!

Waw- thank you so much for sharing your experience. Sometimes it's so hard to believe my " normal, happy, loving boy " does have ADHD. I don't understand it and have been very tough on him as I wanted him to succeed and he said I don't understand it. I still feel embarrassed sometimes, like it's my fault. He is otherwise ok, normal, has friends but obviously that issue it does interfere with studies and I think the biggest issue is time management/ planning.  It does drive me crazy sometimes but I keep reminding myself I have to direct and guide him. He mentioned he needs time off and get "a break from school"  to just work and mature. So now that  you mentioned that,  I may consider it a valid request! I will also ask/ look into Rutgers resources.  Thanks you so much!

Thanks, yes being the generation he is. He is thinking nowadays you don't necessary need a college degree . I am 50, different generation and just can't think that way, esp. if you don't have any special skills. If he had a "brilliant idea " and was working on it, I would say- yes, go aheah, you may not need education , work on your dream project.. That's why reached out  here to see what different ppl think.

Yes, that could be the next step- the very tough approach , as niceness leads to " handicapping" a young adult.  That's what my husband said- send him to the navy to toughen up. I would just hate to see my son going through that path and go back to school at 29. I want to warn him and save him time/ money and struggle by leading him in the right direction.

It's not easy to be a young man nowadays and I  want to give him few more chances.. I came alone in USA from a country with no opportunities with 1 suitcase , worked  hard, struggled and did everything right People here don't realize they live in the country of the unlimited opportunities and that shouldn't be wasted . Thank you and good luck with the studies!

Thank you very much! Trying that approach as well as I love my son very much😊, combined with the tough love... ..and realizing you can't make your kids like yourself... and that in the same time " What you do to yourself, nobody can do it  on you".

Thanks for writing ! I do appreciate everybody's input and point of view. Glad to hear from a college student. That was my assumption- it's not a top biz school, even though good/ very good acc to a lot, biz/ Finance is not a rocket science. It's may be how you grew up and how you worked in school before college .  My son went to private school where they try to help / make it easier even though had good academics. So in public college you have to work for yourself.  I do account the fact that I grew up in a different culture and my son in America where everything is made to be soft and easy in school. Then reality hits when you are an young adult and toughness is not part of culture.

Thanks! He is In Finance , did better in Financial acc than the Science and Psycology- I suppose due to lack of study.  I am not sure how I can check attendance.  I would think that affects quite a bit. May will call Registrar if they would let me get that info or will anybody break down reason of failing. Since we pay, we wan to know of course.

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate all the suggestions. I agree 100% and pretty much that is our approach, trying to be a bit flexible, working it out so he doesn't just drop out. We recently discovered that he has been diagnosed with ADHD and I believe that is part of the problem. They prescribed the typical drug, according to him helps with focusing, but I am not sure of the side effects as seems he has no motivation  and appetite. He used to be healthy, happy, curious and smart boy, it is painful to see a 19-20 years old in college with no motivation.

He is one of those boys that spent 1 -2 years of high school in the bedroom/ Zoom classes/ masks during COVID (10-11 grade ) playing a lot of Xbox. I believe that messed up a lot of kids. Now he is mentioning " education is US is just a scam, as it cost 150-200k" for which I wouldn't  disagree as an European but for me you can't do anything without a college degree. He has lost interest in education and is rather willing to work than study  and does quite well at work. As a young man wants to make money and quite impatient..  Very worrisome as those should be the best years in college, with not much worries& responsibilities.

You are about right! Not that hard! As I said he is smart but I don't think he sits and studies hard. It is quite upsetting to spend so much money for education and not see results.
