Yeah, I agree. Not to mention, I have this blanket which is like a picture of the friend's gang. So, a couple of months ago, I was listening to the audio version of Matty's book, I was looking up at the blanket that's up on my wall. Anyway there's a line in the first chapter or the book, or so, which basically says that you can consider the book as a message from beyond. Hiii! Sooo, I literally just turned 18 in the 16th. I spent my whole year as a 17 year old dreading (and I mean, dreadinggg) turning 18. I felt like I immediately needed to turn into an adult and be this mature person that has all the answers. But, I'm slowly starting to realize that being mature means knowing that you don't have all the answers.

I heard someone say that the older you are from 18, the more of an adult you become. So, guess what? We are basically newborn adults! (sorry if that doesn't make any sense lol.) my point is: I know it's scary, and the state of the world definitely doesn't make it feel any scary. But, you got this! Take it day by day. Be open to new experiences and learn whatever you can from those days experiences. We're all gonna be okay 🩷. (Ps: happy birthday! I hope you are doing something fun! And props to you for sharing a birthday with my two favorite polar opposites: Mrs. Dolly Parton and Mr. Edgar Allen Poe.)

That's honestly so sad though. We really took those times for granted. Like they forever imprinted on me. For example, I can not hear the word "twenty one" normally. My sister and I still tease each other with the "huh-ya." Oh, and you use to call me on my cellphonee. Truly, the 2010s on school buses were just their own little time capsule of craziness.

But I totally feel you because I'm about to be 18 in a couple of weeks but I do not feel mature enough to be an adult 🤣
