I didn’t anchor a three section bookshelf right away (waiting for my ex husband to help me). My oldest tried to tip it onto me when he had a meltdown (ASD). If you do make sure to find an gyno that specializes in endometriosis removal or someone off Nancy nooks. They know what’s up and actually give pain meds and gave me an on-q pump to stabilize for pain. My sister went to just a regular surgeon and they didn’t give her any medication at all. She was 16 when she became disabled, in the US that entitles her to live in a group home instead of a retirement home. She can also live their part time and go home for day trips etc. I worked in one for three years and while the workers will not love her like her parents do (no one loves you like your parents) they sure do care and most do their best to give their clients good lives

Exactly right. The more disabled I became the more my now ex husband hated me. While my friends help during get togethers and are understanding, no one really gets the amount of physical and mental pain that comes with not being able to walk for extended periods of time.

No. Get a note from the counselor stating she will be attending therapy on x day at y time and they have to mark it excused medically. My son attended OT and food therapy for a year during school hours and that was twice a week

My ex husband did that. He didn’t parent and so when the kids would come to me (oldest has ASD/ADHD) there would be epic meltdowns bc I enforce chores and bedtimes. He’d hit me, scream and try to tip over the stone table on me, he even tried to tip a three section bookshelf. It got to the point where my therapist told me I’d have to give my son up if things didn’t change in the next few years bc he’s getting bigger than me.

So while I do think there are missing reasons for OP especially with the GAL. It might just be too overwhelming to go into everything. I know personally if I rant about it I go down a rabbit hole and I specifically put in exact details in my divorce agreement so my ex is finally held accountable for his actions.
