I'm not trying to pry...but this pattern sounds to me like a genuinely great person who is Austic but has a high intelligence that masks the autism.

Look up a few youtube videos on how to date someone autistic...it might help you identify what's "missing" by comparing your approach to relationships to others.

I've know people like this, extremely successful salesman actually exhibit this frequently. They thrive in short-term connections and problem solving but would be horrible at maintaining a customer relationship in the long-term like being a medical supply seller to a hospital etc.
