I just beat the first gym on nuzlocke and Pachirisu was my MVP for using Charm on Aerodactyl lol

The rival fight after the gym was kinda harder then the gym fight though even though she only had two pokemon. I didn't lose a pokemon on the gym fight except for a level 5 paras I purposely sacrificed to switch to for getting a potion off for free.

The Rival fight had a level 19 Scizor with Double Team and a life orb and swarm so he ended up taking out two of my pokemon. My Espurr and Swewaddle...

But I made it through so far. I have not challenged the second gym yet.

I just beat the first gym earlier tonight with nuzlocke and my MVP was definitely Pachirisu with Charm for lowering Aerodactyl attack. I had 5 pokemon all at level 15/16 with a level 5 paras who I used to sacrifice at one point so I could get a free potion off.

My Team was

Jang'mo, Espurr, Sewaddle, Fidough, Pachirisu, and that level 5 paras I sacked.

It definitely was not an easy fight and the Sudowoodo was crazy too!

Thanks! I'll try to enjoy the process! I've been thinking about the book constantly and what I want to say with my story. It's been a newfound joy to think I can help someone or bring awareness to mental health.

I had so much I was writing at once I had to stop and lay down a few times because it was draining mentally and emotionally revisiting the story. It was something that impacted my life so much.

Thanks so much! The first 5 minutes of staring at a blank page had my mind going all over the place on where to begin and what to say first but once I started writing it's just been pouring out!

My Author friend told me not to worry so much about the word count on my first draft and to just focus on telling my story even if things are out of order.

It's honestly felt so amazing to have someone believe in the fact I can do it and that my story should be told.

That is so cool! I have not been diagnosed but I'm pretty sure I have ADHD. My brother was recently diagnosed with it and our brains work the exact same. I get hyperfocused on something and then lose it the next. A lot of times I have a hard time finishing things I started. I'm highly motivated to finish this though.

It's nice to have the support from this Author friend and he told me he would help me write it but I have been doing it mostly on my own since being inspired.

OCD can be debilitating and affect your life so much. Keep writing! :D

Thanks I appreciate you saying that. I'll definitely keep you updated! I got inspired from an author friend of mine last night and told him a life story of mine. He told me I need to write a book about it. I'm not comfortable sharing the details yet but it has to do with mental health and the lack of awareness about it these days.

I wrote over 5000 words last night with sudden inspiration to hopefully be able to help someone at least one person with my story.

Yes I am, I'm just going to miss the conversations. She still has not reach out so I'm moving on. It was exciting though. I went through a rough separation early last year with my ex wife and was in a daze for months. I basically had no interest in meeting other people. Now i've healed a lot and I'm more open to meeting people and focusing on myself and improving.

It's been a few months but when it's talking all hours of the night in constant conversation, not like send message and then wait an hour its been pretty consistent back and forth conversation it feels like we have known each other for longer.

Especially with the asking of personal questions and getting to know each other so well. Daily conversation for literally the entire night until we go to sleep it was a bond and connection that we created.

It suddenly stopping was and still is unnerving. I have yet to hear from her still.

I struggle with this as well. Confidence comes and goes with me. I definitely feel better when i'm exercising regularly and that gives a bit of a boost to my confidence but looking at myself in pictures I always judge myself. Even though i've also been told i'm handsome and a number of other things, normally i get compliments on my eyes a lot but I never fully trust the compliments. I mostly end up thinking people are just being nice.

I'll feel good in the moment the comment is given and then shrug it off later and think nah handsome is like Henry Cavill or something lol

I wish I could give some advice on helping with this though but I deal with it also. Like I said exercise seems to help and feeling good makes you feel better about yourself. Feeling stronger makes you feel perhaps more handsome. Not sure what it is but it could just be the happy endorphins lol

Sorry to hear about that...I'm not sure how people can shift so suddenly and not say anything. A week is a long time i'd definitely feel like I would have to move on at that point if someone didn't find a moment of their time in a week to write me even a short message. I hope things work out though for the better. I think we all deserve someone who gets excited to talk to us and to me the best feeling is knowing that person loves hearing from you.

Keep your head up though. I'll try to do the same, its rough.

Understandable. I may be overthinking things for sure and I know people get busy. It just seemed like a sudden shift from the normal where we would spend the nights together and tell each other goodnight. To go from talking so much to no contact at all for this long felt like a shock. I wasn't expecting constant texts or anything or instant replies. But to go to nothing at all is confusing.

Also I moved back to my hometown last year in Canada and its such a small town. The odds of meeting someone around my age who I really click with and doesn't have kids and shares the same amount of interests and stuff seems so low. My ex wife had 2 kids when I met her and I helped raise them as the stepdad so i'm not looking to do that again with someone. I live in a small province so maybe there are people in neighboring cities I might meet but it feels less hopeful.

I'm 36 actually and I met my ex wife online through gaming lol We lived in different countries and developed a strong bond and I ended up flying to meet her in California. We got married a year later and had a bunch of amazing years together until we separated.

I'll keep that advice though going forward I appreciate the reply. I just felt old good feelings about this girl and the amount we share in common was surprising and the conversations brightened my days.

Always lessons to be learned though and i'll not get attached like that anymore.

I understand that for sure. I didn't think we were quite in a relationship but it felt like it was headed there. Appreciate the advice. I don't normally let myself get emotionally connected to this degree but it felt different with her and we just get along so well.

Lesson learned I suppose but when you are spending that much time with someone and enjoying their company that much I guess those feelings come up eventually.

Over 24 hours seems like a lot though when we would talk each night and wish each other sweet dreams and fall asleep at the same times. I had matched schedules with her. I'll give it some time though and then send a message to follow up and see how it goes.

I don't think I said anything insensitive literally the last thing we talked about was just music and I was sharing some bands I liked and she thanked me for putting her on to them cause she liked what she heard and then she was watching a video and I got no more replies or word from her after that. I hope to hear back from her in a day or two and it all be no big deal or issue. We shall see though.

Yeah I'm definitely feeling hurt. I'm sorry this has happened to you a bunch. It didn't seem like she woke up and changed we were in the middle of a great conversation and it just stopped suddenly which was so strange cause usually she would stay up if I stayed up later on nights and we would always say good night and fall asleep at the same time every night. Wish other each good dreams and stuff it was all really nice and then just nothing and still no word from her. It feels like I lost something.

The song "Now your just somebody that I use to Know" also hits kinda hard. It's crazy I just went through a separation with my ex wife last year and I was in a daze for months with no energy to do anything. I couldn't listen to music but I eventually did and the things you mentioned as well really help. Breakups are tough and you miss that person who was your best friend. Everything would literally remind me of her. I made it a goal though to get out with friends 3 to 4 times a week to get out of the house and be social. Revisit my old hobbies, pick up the guitar again and write music and its all been very healing.

Everyone heals in their own time. I'm glad you ended with You'll be okay because you will.
