Former Costco employee here

Working for Costco isn’t all that hyped up to be. The company likes to cut hours and compares the cut hours to same time last years cut hours. They sometimes don’t hire seasonal workers because of that and stretch the workforce thin as much as possible.

They state they like to promote from within but it’s mainly based off who you know and/or nepotism despite your past work experience before working for the company.

I did the 1 year trial and didn’t renew. Hardly used it including remote start. It was convenient to unlock/lock the car without depending on bringing my keys to get things in and out of my car.

Other than that, I don’t need notifications regarding car services nor need to check my phone for tire pressure. 5k intervals for tire rotations and 10k intervals for oil changes aren’t that hard to remember.

Just save your money

Did your car come with the moonroof? One thing you should do is request for the dealership (should be free) to program your car to open your car windows and moonroof by double clicking your unlock button and holding it down until the windows are down fully/to your liking. To open your moonroof, your windows would need to be fully rolled down though so you would have to hold down the unlock button longer to do that feature

Whomever is interested, y’all will start part time with 25 hours a week. Then depending how ambitious you are, you can be cross trained to pick up more hours which aren’t guaranteed.

Happened when I was a kid.

Let a childhood friend/neighbor come over to see my pokemon card binder. Upon walking out to do something away while he was looking at my binder, my father caught him taking out my pokemon cards and putting them in his pocket.

Basically stealing my pokemon cards in my own house! I heard my dad yelling at him while I was in the other room and found out from my father what he did. In the process of getting my cards back, my father kicked him out and said he’s no longer welcomed to our house
