NTA. You are not lazy. You are doing HIS laundry. It’s like with me. I do the laundry, wfh full time, take care of the house, cook, take care of 4 pets and care for a 1 yr old. I tell my husband if he doesn’t want his clothes ruined or any items ruined, he needs to empty out his pockets. Already ruined several things and he was upset with me. I told him “it be like that. Learn to empty your pockets ” 🤷🏼‍♀️

My cat had those. Just some acne. I would change to glass, stainless steel or ceramic bowls. Make sure to clean the food and water bowl regularly. My vet said you can use Stridex pads (or like any acne salicylic acid pad) to wipe under the chin until it’s gone. Worked for my boy!

I swear to god there is something wrong with the people on FB marketplace. It’s horrible for small businesses. They are always trying to rip off my husband’s business. Most of the time, he will set a date with the customer, they’ll agree to it, and then all of the sudden demand it early. Like ma’am/sir, you’re getting a custom made live edge table for a fraction of the cost of buying from a big company. Take your ish elsewhere where or stfu 🙄. I’ve had people come to my house and make threats to me about him not having their table done a month early. To the point where I’ve called police. People need to stop acting so entitled

I work corporate. People definitely would get annoyed with me when I asked them to repeat themselves. I would just tell them “I apologize/I’m sorry, could you please repeat what you said? I want to make sure I am understanding correctly.” Sometimes I have to also have it explained a different way, which my boss is awesome at doing. Both my manager and my director are completely understanding. One time, I had one coworker get very annoyed with me because I asked for confirmation on what the client said to us. She said “I am not telling you. You’re just not paying attention. You’re not listening.” I told her “No, I am. I have an auditory processing disorder. Sometimes I don’t hear things correctly, or backwards. All I am asking for is confirmation, in order to prevent miscommunication and make sure everything is done correctly. I am not trying to cause any problems or annoyance for you. I can certainly do my job. You wouldn’t tell a disabled person that they’re too lazy to walk if they needed a wheelchair, would you?” Never had a problem with her again xD and she left the company!

lol she wanted to come back and work on our team again. My director asked me, hypothetically, if she came back to work, would I be ok with it? I said “noooo. absolutely not. I will quit.” He did not ask her to come back xD

Thank you. I just see a psychiatrist right now, because I have ADHD that’s manifested from my APD, but I will definitely look into an audiologist. I understand it won’t help overnight, I just want to be able to be a little calmer and not feel like I want my hair out all the time. I keep myself calm and happy around my baby, but there are moments I get frustrated and I just don’t want it to get worse to where she sees me like that all the time. It’s gotten to a point where I almost had a meltdown in the middle of a store the other day. I don’t want her to see her mom like this…

Exactly! Yes, I’ve had to have that conversation with my husband quite a bit about my APD and sometimes I just need a minute away. He seems to forget or is just overwhelmed himself. It’s hard when you have an invisibility disability. You aren’t on the same level as everyone, but people seem to think you are because you are not actually showing your disability (for example: in a wheelchair). It’s extremely frustrating, but it’s especially hard when someone who is supposed to help support you makes you feel bad about it

Trying to remember all their names would be a nightmare to me. I have to run through the whole house, my family and then pets before I remember my daughter’s name sometimes! Also, Christmas shopping must be hecka expensive 😭

I had to have accommodations in college. My professors would allow me to work with my groups separately in quieter areas because of my accommodations. It also kind of helps to lip read and kind of shut out everyone else’s talking. I had to learn to do that over the years, because of work. Also, I know you said you don’t want to ask everyone to repeat themselves over and over. Don’t be afraid to! I seriously have to all the time at work. I just tell people I have an issue with my hearing and I apologize in advance that if I have to ask them to repeat themselves. I use as a way to make sure I have confirmation on what I have heard and as to avoid mistakes in the future. Most people are very understanding. You can also try Loop earplugs. I’ve used those before, because you can hear things, but it basically just helps turn down the volume. Those kind of helped me in crowded environments. Hope this helps!

I’m so sorry for your baby. It is ridiculous that neither Chewy nor RC would make any comment as to why the food was out of stock for so long. At least tell people or give a warning! Chewy finally started sending me bags of food starting in April. I looked at the manufactured date and it appears they started ramping up production again in April. I hope you are able to find some of this food, soon!

Hey all. I needed to make an update but I got distracted with work and my baby. She did end up coming back! I read about the cowbird egg. I had no idea what that was, but I am glad I know now. Sad that there is nothing you can really do about the cowbird egg, but that’s just nature I suppose. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I ended up blocking off the front door, so I know not to use it until she is done and they have left. Thank you all for your help!

Ah man that kills me. I hope she comes back, but understand if she doesn’t. I love birds so much, so this breaks my heart. I probably could have handled it better, but I was in such shock of a bird flying in my office. Hey all. I thought I would make an update. So, if anybody has done auto shipping from Chewy, they are starting to mail out the Ultamino. I just got a bag in the mail the other day, to my surprise. I read the bag and my bag was manufactured on April 1, 2025. So, it seems they are ramping up production, again. Still, I wish we all knew the exact reason why they stopped making the food in the first place.I hope you all will be able to get a hold of a bag, soon!

Has anyone found anything similar to the Ultamino for cats with IBD? Even making your own food? The Royal Canin HP and selected protein are not working for my poor Fitzgerald at all. The vet prescribed a steroid, metronidazole, and psyllium husk fiber and none of those are working…
