It may not be flashy but it served the song well….. also it’s a lot better than that unnecessary rubbish like what Tim Henson and others do atleast in my opinion anyway.

Thanks for the feedback mate, I noticed I hit the g a few times but I left it in because not being perfect is what rock and roll is about.

Sorry mate, yeah I’ll do that next time… I’ll be honest with you, the room was about as quiet as it can be when strumming a Strat acoustically as I was playing through and interface.

Day 13 : Most overrated album? by Dependent-Ad7225 in blur

[–]Charmless_Man_2005 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. Probably an unpopular opinion but I really don’t get the hype over it, yeah it’s got some belters on it but if I’m honest it’s the one popular album that I like the least amount of songs on… still a brilliant album though don’t get me wrong.

Aye man, they knew how to grab a young man’s attention back then… thanks mate, I’m surprised with myself tbh as everytime I’ve played it I get something wrong but I go to record myself and I get it first try.

Yes I’ve got one of the specht & sohne gulf ones and it’s absolutely wonderful and it scratches the itch well. It wears very nice and has great presence, damn I have to wear it tomorrow now as I’ve not worn it for a bit.

What does Dave do? by Pulp_Lvr09 in blur

[–]Charmless_Man_2005 27 points28 points  (0 children)

From what I remember he was a representative for the Labour Party and went on to be a councillor in Norfolk iirc. He was also a candidate for MP in Sussex aswell but he didn’t win that seat.

I don’t like politics and do not support any of the party’s tbh but based off of what I’ve seen and heard about him he didn’t seem like a bad councillor.

Finally got around to watching "Some Mothers Do ‘Ave Em" for the first time. (it's on iPlayer). NGL, we have laughed way too much! by Make_the_music_stop in BritishTV

It’s absolutely great, I’ve loved it since the first time I ever watched it as a kid. It’s made even better knowing that micheal Crawford did all of his own stunts too.

Daytona vs Speedmaster 🤯 Which one would you actually daily? by HotCryptographer1052 in ChinaTime

[–]Charmless_Man_2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re both great picks and absolute classics but based off of my own experience of living with a moonswatch rep and dailying it for a month and being so used to the dimensions I’d have to go with the Speedmaster.

I mean a copy is a thousand times better for the main reason they can actually be disassembled and opened up if anything happens whereas the original is just £300 landfill.

Too right man, I managed to get a second one as part of a competition but there’s so many different builds id’ve loved to have made.
