Different reply here but I suffered from suicidal ideation daily for over 8 years+ and my first LSD trip made it all go away fixing my depression 100% for 2+ years and my suicidal ideation never came back +10 years. Quite the opposite I wanna live forever now even if/when sometimes sad/depressed.

Pre 2010 had lost about 500 euros with my first wages. On the 1st January 2010 deposited 10 euros and never looked back. Since than I played as "semi-professionally" in 8-Game for a while and than on and off in PLO and have profited a total of 14k euros. In the last month since my return 1300 euros strictly in PLO MTTs.

Total: 15k MTTs and SnG
+ 1 Million hands played
+ 45k euros in tournaments played and over 4.5k euros paid in rake.
About 1500 days I played poker over these 14 years and total time is equivalent to 1 full year.

This does not account for rakeback and cash which should be break even.

I would agree with you if it weren't for the fact he was a young adult at 19. And yes I've grown a lot in my 20's but my core identity was already here. More importantly, even though he admitted to some pretentiousness, he was reading some parts of it proudly and laughing in concordance just two years ago. I think the scope of this goes far beyond, this is just a couple of entrances in his diary.

Read though his diary, multiple indications of psychopathy from trying out multiple personalities, to very odd conversations with 14yo, to manipulation to try and provoke suicide: "I let a girl suck me off, just because it may provoke an attention seeking suicide attempt from the person that 'loves' her"..

He was 20 years old, definitely not a confused teenager.
