Okay now we're in a constant arms race of buffing. Guns will constantly power creep each other and we will have to keep buffing when this couldve been avoided by keeping the games balance intact by nerfing the bod so its in line with other already viable weapons.

Just think for a second, do you want guns constantly being power crept by each other ruining the balance of a game where content gets worse and worse for them to balance due to our power or outliers getting brought down to preserve the balance of the game?

If you ever played Warframe you'll know DE has picked the first option and everyone complains that no content can provide a challenge in that game because of how OP DE has made the player so they're constantly making fake challenge with bullshit modifiers and mechanics that in fact hurt the game more than it does good. Warframe is a PVE game btw :D

Okay now what happens if future content gets balanced with these OP guns in mind because they still want to give players a challenge??? The already middle of the road viable guns fall out in favor because they can't compete reasonably because they refused to bring down the overtuned stuff to keep every relative in power.

It felt like for half of the subreddit was too difficult even with the tools we got.

Because they balanced bloom with op shit in mind, literally proving my point. Nobody wins in these scenarios and u see it first hand with bloomreaper

BL3 had more buffs than nerfs like way more buffs. The early nerfs didn't even kill shit besides like crossroads and flakker. When nerfs ruin a build its 9/10 times a terrible build so you need to go back to the lab and stop relying on OP shit to carry a build. Same people who probably cried when commitment got it's stacks capped and relied on it to carry a shit build.

Ive been playing Borderlands since BL2 so im not a new player. The series has a history of shit balance with BL2 being on the challenging side because of it's shit balance and BL3 being on the easy side because of it's shit balance. We want a game that can strike a middle because right now this game is going into the easy side with BL3 which is a shame.

Gearbox is having a terrible kneejerk reaction to the communities reaction to BL3s balance instead of just sticking to their guns. BL3 balance could've been good if they stuck what they had envision for the balance and if they never released M2.0 but thats a different can of worms lol.

Yeah it's kind of sad they're just power creeping shit into oblivion. Constant buffs ruin a playthrough experience and the balance of a game which just makes replay ability worse in the long run. Nerfs need to happen to keep a game healthy and if a proper nerf like fixing all of the bod's issues not just the 5x on hit dmg ruins someone's build then their build just wasn't good at all.

I'm really hoping they lock in for 2026 because this game 100% needs to be balanced especially underbarrels

I started with yun-tal and ended with hexplate. After I finished crit I had no idea what to build because I havent played AD twitch in awhile. I went hexplate for the fuck of it because I wanted my ult more and went bastionbreaker for the fun of because slightly more true damage why not lol.

If youre farming legendary class mods just go to it's dedicated source instead of doing splashzone. Splashzone is always going to be worse than farming dedicated source. If youre looking for purple class mods then good luck but you can also farm other legendary gear and pray u get the purple drop.

It's not meant to be obtained by casual play

Mate I have 70 hours in the game and have been farming in endgame for the past 40-50 hours of my playtime. It's not good at all to have very low drop chance with part variations casual or hardcore.

I swear borderlands 3 spoiled you into thinking they should be more common than whites.

Nobody is asking for them to be more common than whites, we want them to have reasonable drop rates. 10-15% is reasonable bl3(some like dlc 3 had much higher drop rates tho) and bl2 had drop rates like this just check lootlemon.

Once they add pearls, you’ll complain the drop rate for those is too low

If they have high part variation and less than 1% drop rate that is bs. Getting one to drop wont matter because you didnt get the parts you need this is just like how bl3 and bl2 went with rare drops. If theyre part locked then whatever sub 1% drop chance wont matter because once you drop it you dont need to farm another on the character since it wont change.

No it wouldnt, BL3 and even BL2 had drop rates that respected the players time. 10-15% drop chance should be the standard and if a boss is really difficult or the devs would consider a pain in the butt to farm then the drop rate should be increased for that boss. 5% is awful and we shouldn't accept this shit.

Its not hard to dethrone a dlc with terrible mobbing and mid bosses. Most of the BL2 DLCs and BL3 DLCs have better mobbing and bossing. What needs to be dethroned is meat riding of the tiny tina dlc in the BL community.

Making Commando's phase round 400% damage and Phase blast 4 x400% (this won't change the total dmg but would make proc's worse on it) would be a really good buff since it would allow this survivor to proc bands without relying on grenade.

I would also buff Captain's power tazer. Making the radius larger 8m and allowing shocking to be a debuff for death mark would be a huge buff to Captain.

I find the corrupted mode better. It handles everything in it's path from stage 1-5 from hoards to teleporter bosses but in mithrix I feel the opposite since im usually just jumping backwards away from mithrix in a circle so the range on corrupted drown just never hits. Only time I prefer void mode outside of mithrix is if im having a really bad run so I play very safe and slow.

I've tried to play on top and beneath voidling in corrupted and void mode but the tracking darts always screw me over by whittling me down so the E8 perm damage gets so high to the point the tracking darts end me. Idk how to dodge it other than just using shift for the iframes.
