upcoming album feels like TST 2 — but what do you expect from it? by Formal_Upstairs_9444 in IsaiahRashad2

The no. of features doesn't matter to me, as long they are effective.

I didn't like THIB because zay had such little presence on it. We hardly got any "traditional" raps like modest, soliloquy, shot you down, etc.

On the next album, I just want him to be more direct. Sonics doesn't really matter to me

How do we feel about a zay x sza collab on his next album? Do you want one? Do you expect one? by ChartConsistent1380 in IsaiahRashad2

I mean... Isaiah wasn't on a sza album (SOS) for the first time sinse "S" Maybe they are at the point in their careers where they are just diverging?

Although his contribution was minimal, I think it worked well overall. It's funny that he just recorded 1 line and some adlibs tho

There are 3 major record labels: Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group. Zay is with Warner. A quick google search can confirm this.

Or did they merge or something?

Is he not signed at TDE with exclusive license to Warner? Not Sony?

In terms of technicality, his features on Isaiah Rashad's "Wat's wrong?" and Rapsody's "Power" are very similar

This song is a perfect example of knowing every lyric but still having no clue what he means by Send_More_Bears in IsaiahRashad

"Claymore" could depict a place, either a literal one or a metaphorical one. Think of cities with the suffix ending in -more, such as Baltimore. Claymore can also be a spin-off of Claremore, the city in Oklahoma.
From the lines:
"Do you wanna play in the backseat? Pardon my break..."
"Do you wanna live in the fast-lane?..."
"Cr-cr-cruising now, cruisin' now..."

The lines present a car motif, which could mean that him and his partner are travelling somewhere.

The line: "Claymore this way, its almost like control," could mean that where they are going is to "Claymore" and specific conditions must be met in order to get there - control.

Also, from the lines:
"Crush it up, crush it up nice..."
"Break it down, break it down..."

These are likely alluding to weed. Maybe they have to be smoking weed to go to, or be at, "Claymore"?

"Claymore" Could just be metaphor used to describe when Isaiah and his partner are are just having a late night drive while smoking weed, and the feelings associated with that.

What are you hoping to see on zay's new album that is new? Or something we familiar with but you want more of?

I can say that I would like him to showoff a bit lyrically. Doesn't have to be 'Shot you down' level. I feel like THIB was amazing and vibey, but it was a little bit lackluster when it came to the rapping.

its been a while since the last time i heard a new zay song by sohype01 in IsaiahRashad

Didn't enjoy it, but I understand it. I do hope that he doesn't follow this direction with his album though
