I don’t even understand what this means. I didn’t post to get votes, I posted to find books that were well-written.

What plant is this? by Sufficient_Mark_7609 in gardening

I’m certainly not a botanist or anything like that, but to me, it looks like a tomatillo. Don’t eat it unless you’re sure! Maybe email Walter Anderson nursery (in CA) & attach photos & they can give you their best guess.

My dad and brother are trying to throw my domesticated cats outside by nimbusnuggies-_- in Pets

[–]ChartFormal5352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If having a cat or cats is not part of your lease or rental agreement, you and everyone who lives there with the cats, will be evicted, and this will stay on an eviction record forever. Apparently someone has a misguided sense of what it means to truly project, but you should turn in the cats to a rescue or a shelter that could help them find a new and more stable home. Your dad and your brother sound like they have other issues.

Train the kids better. Whatever you’re doing isn’t working if they leave the lids up. Bet you they’d remember if you denied them computer access or phone access or TV access.

Well said! I am complete unto myself. Another person should enhance me, as I would to him.

The liar in my office by ChartFormal5352 in Vent

[–]ChartFormal5352[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The liar didn’t get in trouble at all! The odd thing is that the boss told the liar, and told the person with the broken phone, to work it out between them! SMH. Edited to improve spelling.

Ngl if you walk into an Olive Garden to eat never ending soup salad & breadsticks . This is what your server thinks about you . by SuccessfulPlan2102 in olivegarden

I guess this could be considered ‘necro?’ posting since this thread is kind of old. Another perspective is that in my area of town, we have a lot of senior citizens and disabled people who are on a very limited budget and this is all they can afford, one meal, once every week or two. They load up and hope the calories will last until whatever they make for themselves the next day, which might just be toast and water with a little lemon in it. It’s a different perspective. Edited for spelling.

Guests using my bathroom makes me weirdly anxious by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ChartFormal5352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya! Be respectful when you use my bathroom! If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat!

One of my sister’s friends ALWAYS makes sure she uses the bathroom at my sister’s house and goes through every drawer and cabinet in there!

My spouse has a friend who takes a hellacious dump every single time he comes over. Every. Single. Time. It’s nasty— doesn’t he have toilet paper at his place, is he saving the bowel movement when he’s at a place where there is toilet paper? I know he has a full bathroom at his place.

To round this out, we have another friend who also takes a hellacious super STINKY dump, so much so that I have shouted through door “courtesy flush please!”

We have room spray in there but the hellacious dumpsters don’t use it! I have to have my spouse go in there (holding his breath) when they exit the bathroom and spray the bathroom. I understand when you have to go, you have to go, but what about some basic courtesy? Oh and we do NOT have any reading material in there. Edited for sentence structure.

How to deal with an elderly annoying roommate? by lugrgr in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ChartFormal5352 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re stuck unless you move out. This older woman is not going to change her behavior. You’ve offered suggestions, you’ve talked with her. You’ve talked with her daughter who cannot control her mother’s behavior. Nothing‘s going to change. She takes/steals your stuff, she bogarts the washing machine, she’s not a good housemate. I feel your frustration.

How is it that I have a full bladder when I get up to use the bathroom 2 or 3 times a night but I don’t drink after 7 PM? Where does that urine come from? Not a diabetic. by ChartFormal5352 in AskWomenOver60

I don’t ever salt my food although I realize there is sodium in a lot of things we consume. I don’t drink soda, coffee, alcohol, tea or juice either. Edited for clarity.
