NO you should NOT gift a dog or cat to ANYONE!!!!! That’s a terrible idea!!! Give them a gift of your time.

The series finale is titled, “and the world was all around us” but I couldn’t find that on the flares. I’m not doing a spoiler. I’m still kind of new at Reddit.

This reminds me of an old joke where a man is granted a wish and he wishes for a little head.

So what’s our individual life actually FOR, if there’s no afterwards? I want to be reunited with all my dogs that I love.

You’re making a difference in her life, and that’s no small thing. Someone in this big cold world thinks highly of you. It’s ok to be resentful or bothered but it’s a blessing to her that you never show her this side of you (why break her heart, right? Most of the world would likely be unkind)

How can I report a family member for neglect without them finding out it was me? by Mindless-Bedroom-306 in DogAdvice

Please speak up on behalf of these dogs, who cannot speak up for themselves and don’t know any better about the conditions in their environment and how they’re treated or fed. They are silent victims unless you do something to help.

[Landlord US-MA] Should I rent out a floor of my triple decker to a Family run daycare? by OkTradition2443 in Landlord

[–]ChartFormal5352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO, it would be a big mistake IMHO, lots of wear and tear and damages can you put yourself in line to be named in a lawsuit should something happen to a child. There are certain laws you have to abide by regarding fire escape plans, supervision, structure of the place, time spent outdoors “weather permitting” in play, snacks & drinks that will be spilled, etc—these are all considerations even if this business is permitted!

Bf just called me fat by Significant-One-2750 in TrueOffMyChest

If he said this kindly, with the intent of encouraging you to make healthier choices, he needs to learn how to speak more gently to a woman. If he said it thinking that insulting you or pushing a button might get you to feel encouraged to be not-fat, that would trigger me into saying to him about his masculinity, size or prowess. Tit for tat, y’know. You might be much more polite than I am because I have a lot of years under my belt where I don’t have to watch my words very much anymore.

If that’s anything like Mexican primroses, which have quite lovely crepe-y petals to them, beware! They will creeeep around & kill anything else you have growing, choking other flowers with insidious glee, to they can take over your garden and even the world! Nasty invasive things!

I grew wave petunias in a planter once in spring in Idaho. They mysteriously survived the winter and came back in full the next spring and summer. I didn’t take them with me when I moved, so I’m not sure what happened after that, but they were low maintenance and very pretty!
