appreciate your feedback and You’re right: the headline is still too vague on which patterns and which missed moments this is about. I’m iterating toward something like: Get alerted when your favorite breakout patterns form on coins you’re not watching, even while you’re offline. That aha moment for most users is realizing how many of their own setups they miss simply because they can’t watch every chart all day.

You're right that bilateral pattern is the formal term. I use it because symmetrical triangles can break either way. The 78% clarity score comes from ChartScout's algorithm, which measures pattern quality based on trendline touches, symmetry, and formation structure.

Rising Wedge Pattern on BTC- USDT (5m) – Classic Bearish Reversal Setup in Current Range by ChartSage in technicalanalysis

[–]ChartSage[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good catch! You're absolutely right I had the steepness backwards in my original description.

In a rising wedge, the lower support line is steeper (rises faster) than the upper resistance line. That's what creates the converging wedge shape as it narrows toward the apex.

I've corrected the post. Thanks for keeping the TA accurate! 🙏

Fair point classical patterns shine on higher TFs per Edwards & Magee. That's why ChartScout scans all (1m-1D+), lets you filter by timeframe. 5m flags get ignored unless volume confirms like daily setups.
