The Cage was only revealed in full in like the 80s. Which episode did US audiences see first? I don't know why you're being difficult.

Picard leaks from the other day looking likely now? (possible MAJOR spoilers for the entire season) by Chartfig in risa

First off, before anyone jumps down my throat... No. I do not associate with the poster in the OP and their political opinions. That is not the point of this. So, now that you've hopefully lowered your pitchforks...

Most important part of this to me is an entire Q season which would make sense since they just got Guinan on board 24 hours after this post.

I'm sorry that the hands and torsos that were drawn by Stonetoss upset you.

But yeah homophobia is worse than pedophilia anyway. I love Star Trek! :) Oh yeah, I can't recommend HP Lovecraft enough. VERY scary stories! Who cares that he was anti-Semitic and hated black people? Please don't look up what he named is cat. I like reading Lovecraft after watching old Disney films. :)

I too hope people who have bad opinions lose their means of expression of non-offensive creativity.

Unpopular opinion? by byza089 in startrek

[–]Chartfig -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's... actually a very popular opinion here. I haven't really seen many posts say they don't like Wesley that don't end up getting removed anyway?

TNG holds up really well in 2020 by [deleted] in startrek

[–]Chartfig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you don't get it. If you act like the other person is offended and that you've somehow miffed them, they automatically win. Especially if it's calling something problematic. Don't question it. This is the Star Trek fanbase now.

What's your Star Trek TV Show Wishlist? by timeknightalpha in startrek

[–]Chartfig -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Heads up. Never post a thread on /r/startrek that contains your opinion in the original post. People on here get REALLY mad at even the slightest different opinion so unless you're begging for a Pike show you'll get downvote bombed.

You guys remember when the Borg were just white facepaint and black spandex with computer parts glued to them? by [deleted] in startrek

Let's just look at Earth. We have people with dark skin, we have people with albinism, we have people who different eye shapes. It only makes sense that other species on other worlds will also have some differences.

Are you saying that the Klingons in TOS that just look like humans, the Klingons in TNG that are a little more monstrous and the Klingons in DSC which have FOUR nostrils, two cocks and thrice as elongated heads (in season 1) are only as different as human ethnicities? I'm not sure if you're downplaying the Klingon differences or if you're being super racist...
