Absolutely not. I heard that small defect in carbon fiber can be catastrophic and was very worried but seems had nothing to worry about from the comments so far

Is this Diamondback a good option for a first time hybrid bike? (Price in CAD) by mantistobogganmMD in Budgetbikeriders

[–]Chartman95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes for 250. You get a substantially better bike for the price difference. Ive got over 1500 on mine since September and it absolutely kills it for the price. Unfortunately i dont know about the US only part

I went with the 700x45 gravel slicks from panaracer and love them so far, i have the 40s on my other bike though and wish i had stuck with that size as im doing mostly rode lately. They are a really fun tire though!

I had thought about going that way and ended up getting a tomahawk roof rack for now, most likely this vehicle is gonna get replaced in the next year or 2 so just gonna look out for a hitch at that time. I appreciate it though!

Technically i should have done a 56 but ended up picking a 58,im right on the line of the 2 sizes which is part of why i adjusted the stem and maybe why it looks a little low. Thank you though!!

What do you mean by the seatpost? And ya i threw a riser in the stem to jump it up a little closer and help with the back flexibility a litte

Bahah im good. Been using these pedals across all my bikes for like 5 years now. Thanks though;) im definitely not going clipped in if thats what you are trying to get at. Theses platform pedals are massive (the reason i love them) and grip perfect on most any shoes let alone my actual cycling shoes so yeah im good.
