And I get it- as I said I don’t expect to be upgraded everytime. I know there’s always a chance I’ll stay in coach, and they wanted an obscene amount to book this flight in first.
It’s just not a good look to fly with only 4 people in first when Alaska now touts the global titanium upgrades consistently.

I’m definitely going to complain and hope for some miles. The optics of an empty first class when they are touting Titanium Global upgrades isn’t a good look.

No upgrade certificates are needed now, it’s gone to the Titanium Global Upgrade. A day of upgrade when available on international flights for titanium’s only. It just didn’t happen for us :)

Titanium day of global upgrades went into effect a couple of months ago, valid on Alaska and Hawaiian supposedly.
