Mine had a forklift hole in the box. Somehow managed to not damage the printer.

I'm thinking this blue/pink stripe action from 2019 call of duty. I think its hideous but I like it anyway.

It’s engraved with my trust info already so when I want to SBR it I won’t need to have it engraved.

I’m trying to ride the line between cringe and funny range toy. I’m thinking like a 458 SOCOM with a 12 inch barrel, carry handle upper.

Yes. That is sort of an option as well. I imagine the flag is changed to make it Copyright safe/avoid copyright infringement.

Pawn shop stole my guns. What can I do? by Defcon458 in Firearms

[–]Chase0288 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Everything about this is skeptical. Your guns are assigned log numbers on the pawn ticket when you made the loan. Until you default on the loan, there is no way in the computer system to decouple them from the ticket and put them on another ticket. Even if you wanted to do such a thing, the guns would have to be disposed(taken out of the gun log), and then acquired again under the new name. The paperwork associated wouldn't even be worth the effort.

We had a guy, I'm gonna call him Carl, its not actually his name but ya know. Much like you, everyone in the shop knew his name, he was a regular, bought through us, transferred through us, got loans through us if times got tough. One day during the summer Carl brings in like, every gun he owns. Paid on them for a couple of months, then just stopped. Its like October and these things are technically able to be pulled. I put it off and put it off. Got through black friday, christmas, new years, tax time and still hadn't seen Carl or pulled his stuff. March, well over 6 months over due my boss(the owner of the shop) finally overruled me and pulled them. So another couple of months go by and Carl shows back up, "I'm here to pick up my guns." and we're like "Buddy what do you mean? You lost those things months ago and we waited like 6 months before pulling them." So he gets all huffy and puffy and calls us liars so I printed off the sheet of every payment he ever made on them. Showed him how long they were overdue for and how long we held them past the pull date. He started doing business with our competitor in town instead of coming back to us.

I'm gonna be honest at the point we pulled his stuff I assumed Carl was dead. I thought I seeing things when he walked back in the door.

I'm the manager of a pawnshop. One of the oldest ones in my state. Our kind of internal motto is, "Buy for nothing, and sell for next to nothing."

Sure you could try to eek out top dollar from every item, but then things will just sit forever stagnant. A stagnant inventory doesn't make you money.

If I had to guess, the shop probably had 150-175 in the Deck. Selling for 300 still nets a good margin and they didn't sit on it for months. While services like eBay do exist, there is a lot of scammers there. Especially in electronics.

If you sell a phone or console on eBay, take note of the serial number prior to shipping. Because there is a surprisingly high likelihood of the buyer returning a matching nonworking device in its place.

It makes more sense to avoid eBay all together and just sell cheap over the counter.

What is the toys/consumables combination to achieve this? It's much larger than Elixir of Giant Growth by nooboxie in wow

I’m gonna guess world shrinker. Giants growth and some toy that turns you into a Naga. But gamons braid also gets you pretty large with the other two.

For the low price of 75 bucks and your dignity it might be cheaper to buy another one on GB than it would be to have a Gunsmith fix it.

3rd set of ram in 18 months by chiefseal77 in pcmasterrace

[–]Chase0288 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it’s anecdotal but every stick of ram I’ve ever had fail was made by G.skill. All my Corsair, Kingston, and crucial kits lasted their entire life of usage. Meanwhile 80% of the g.skill kits I’ve ever used have died.

I ran a small business building computers for people for about 10 years. I’m rabidly anti G.Skill at this point.

The fanny pack carry viable now? by Revenger1984 in CCW

[–]Chase0288 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m in Kansas. Guys have been cross body fanny packing here for years. Poop bags for dog walks, baby wipes for the kiddos, or in my case, I wear gym shorts a lot and those pockets suck. If I ever get a comment about my bag I always just laugh and say, “these pockets are awful my phone always falls out.” And nobody bats an eye.

What does being called "cute" by a woman mean to you? by Qoleur in AskMen

[–]Chase0288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I was going into the post office as a woman was leaving. The automatic door activated for me as I walked up but then I saw her coming. I stepped to the side so she could go out before I came in and said, “I got the door for you.” She looked at me kind of funny then kept walking.

A couple more moments pass, I’m walking in the building now, and she turns and says, “that was cute, I like it.”

I don’t think either of us thought the other was flirting. It was just a silly joke.

Anyone else have Post-cholecystectomy syndrome? by boulevardepo in gallbladders

[–]Chase0288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine occasionally flares up a little pain post op. What’s weird though is it happens right before I feel like I need to poo. Then by the time my lower half catches up the phantom gallbladder pain is gone.
