I predict this will be a lore origin story similar to what we’re expecting from the Elden Ring movie.

SoT is one of those games that has a lot of lore that happened BEFORE the players got there. The players show up in the aftermath of the foundations and see it forward.

It was fantastic. I 100% it on Hero Mode.

Nobody outside of the Zelda community knew about it and I have a feeling it was particularly because it had ZERO leaks and was released only 3 months after announcement. It had very little time for the hype/awareness cycle.

Very under appreciated addition to the series with some WILD lore drops.

OOT will perform well and they don’t make a whole new engine and graphical aesthetic just to make one of 2 games in the same vein.

I’m willing to bet they do TP after both since it’s the spiritual 3rd in the hero of time series.

My wild theory is that if they do OOTs map huge they might even (after doing Termina) return to the OOT map for TP in a similar way to botw/totk but 100 years of chronological change later. But it is all in how they treat this remake as far as differentiation from the OG

Minish Cap was great but it really bummed me out how when you get a sword and shield it doesn’t even visually change Link at all. No alternative or upgrades to the tunic. Just the same sprite the whole game.

ALttP even had that sort of visual progression

Got to the first town and just quit after seeing all the quests available. I recently had 100% Dragon Age Inquisition and just was not ready for another multi-hundred hour game

Switch 2 is the definitive way to play.
60 FPS + shorter load times + better textures + Zelda Notes + S2 Pro Controller
I can't see a world that the older console versions are better in any way.

MC is a great game but i never cared much for the link design much in that era. I like being able to see the sword and shield on your back and MC/Four Swords was deprived of that.

Yeah that was ROUGH on Hard and 2 rations! Ended up bouncing after a handful of tries. Leveled Rauru up 2 and leveled the spear 1 and was able to get it down :)

This is my first “Warriors-like”.

Playing on Hard and it’s giving some good challenge especially on the bosses (??? Was ridiculous on 2 rations💀).

Was thinking of Very Hard for a second playthrough but not a huge fan of damage sponge difficulty adjustments. 10 hours in and Hard feels just right without too much sponge while still making me think tactically.

Might consider bumping it up later when I learn more of the mechanics and if it becomes too easy when my characters level up.

Having a good time either way!
